She has a 917 number which I thought was NY but claims to be from LA.  Is that normal or am I paranoid of LE?

It’s fairly common to see a phone# from somewhere other than 'home-base', particularly for a traveling lady.  I didn’t get other phone# hits for her number on a quick search of Eros, TER or SER – take that for what its worth…
