Is it my imagination, or is the TS group kind of isolated from the other forums at TER?  If the OP had posted in the Newbie board, would he get mostly a lot of macho flames, or does the TS crowd participate in the Newbie board?

While I'm at it, from reading a lot of EROS ads I get the feeling that TS providers operate differently than hetero providers.  It looks like many TS providers don't schedule in advance but instead want a call within one hour of a proposed meet.  My experience with hetero is that many providers want advanced scheduling, and apparently do more background checking on a hobbyist.

Your observations are correct.  Most TG's will want you to schedule the same day.  Some will even want you to schedule within the hour.  I guess they figure this will cut down on flakes?  The reference system is also non existent for the most part.  Only some of the higher end TG escorts will require a background check.
