...but why do guys go to TJ to get escorts? I always thought people went down there to get away from the escort scene. The way I see it the only people that get escorts in TJ are those who are mad at money, or too big of pussies to go to a Zona Norte bar.
Almost all of the girls that work as internet escorts also work in bars. For example, one famous chica(who will remain nameless) works as an escort and in a bar. As an escort you pay her $150 for an hour, or as a bar-girl you pay her $100 for an hour.
But what's even better about bar-girls is selection. On any given day there are what, 7 internet escorts on hand if you're lucky, but at the same time there is hundreds of bar-girls(most of witch are way better looking than the common escort).
One more thing about bar-girls that is better than chicas that solely work as escorts is the fact that they need to have current health cards and get checked for STDs every couple weeks. I'm sure someone that is solely an escort would see no reason to do this.

Don't hold your breath. There is about the same number of girls from TJ working the internet as two years ago. Give it another two years and I'd very surprised if this meager number even goes up by 50%. In fact, I bet the number goes down given the fact that nearly all the TJ internet escorts are at retirement age for this industry.
I'm glad to see this site have a TJ section, but I truly feel that the bars a way better way to enjoy pay-for-play in Tijuana than escorts. Oh yeah, MPs are a huge waist of money in TJ too.

I felt I needed to respond since I saw one of the internet girls today. I've been to AB 3 times over the past couple years and had 7 different girls, so I can compare. Well, the experience doesn't compare. For one, the girls work out of a nice apartment nothing like the hotel above AB. Second, the internet girls try very hard to be a GFE and succeed. Lots of kissing, showering together, drinks, music, the whole package. An hour with a girl at AB would be 100 plus 22 for the room and 10 for the cab both ways. For 150, the girl picks you up and drops you off with a kiss. I've also had girls with very questionable hygiene out of AB, just look at the reviews for the internet girls and you won't find one complaint. I don't know if I'll ever understand why I was their only customer today.
Will I be back to AB. Sure, the variety is great and I have had good experiences, but for an escort GFE type experience the tj internet girls are great.

Among the incall girls, Nicole speaks good English and it's pretty easy to carry on conversation with Tania. There are so many girls working in the bars, it should generally be easy enough to find one or more who speak English reasonably well (at least at AB) but she may not be the hottie you are lusting for. If you go to a massage parlor, you can simply ask if any of the girls speak English. In the end, they all know enough to conduct business with English speakers.

WW... You almost certainly express the majority opinion but some of us like an experience different from the bar scene -- as our main source of fun or as a form of variety.
When I go to TJ for a few days versus just one (about every-other trip as I live several hours away), I like to enjoy ladies from the bars and also an MP girl and/or an incall girl. But if I am going just for an afternoon or evenng, then I will probably see an MP or incall girl, especially as I don't care much for hanging out in bars anymore.
If a guy enjoys pounding away at a lot of girls in a short period of time (and is young enough to pull that off) then certainly the bars offer the best bang for the buck. But some of us have been around the block many, many times and don't have the juice to do one girl right after the other. So in that case, maybe a guy looks for a slower time with more illusion of intimacy and romance than he can find in a bar.
Speaking of illusion, the cost of seeing bar girls isn't really much better than incall girls. As stated in another response, you see a bar girl for maybe $60 for half an hour. You buy a drink or two for yourself and maybe one for her. You pay for the room. You pay for cabs both ways. The incall girl provides refreshment, transportation, a shower and a nice room with her hour of (generally) very GFE service. For these reasons, I have seen the incall/bar girl you refer to many times and always at her apartment... even though she has offered to meet me at AB.
In the end, it's a matter of "differnt strokes" and fortunately, TJ has something for everyone. As long as we are all having a good time, does it matter how we get there?

There is something in this hobby for everyone.
Some like incall, some like ASP's, some like SG's others like GFE, others PSE, and some TS's. So what if guys like to go to TJ
and hire an escort using the methodology with which they feel safe and familiar. Maybe they don't feel comfortable with the bar scene down there. Maybe after a few good experiences with the Escorts in TJ they will test the waters of the bordello scene, and maybe even the street girls.
As long as each of us can connect\find the type of lady he is searching for or the experience he is looking for, who gives a damn what other guys like or spend their money on as long as it doesn't get us bounced from an appointment with our ATF?
