Although I would have guessed the PPM percentage would be even higher. And the 74% who claim some or deep emotional connection makes sense if you assume longer-term arrangements (i.e.: lasting over 3 months).  

 
I wonder how the data would split if you had separated SD's from SB's...

Actually, "No connections, it's just money" would be more appropriate for SB's. I still keep in touch with a few of my ex-regular SB's who have moved away from my area, but I know it's just money to most of them.

Yeah, their fantasy of a deep emotional connection is what is called the "anti-slut defense" that they hold in their own minds so as to not feel bad about themselves compared to social acceptance.  In reality is it about the money.  If the money stopped they'd disappear.

Those somewhat naive people are equally weird.

Seems they all have had arrangements of 3+ years...and equally compare civie-dating to arrangements.

Their morals/expectations/knowledge in no way translate here, which is why I don't venture over there anymore.

Well, the biggest issue seems to be POTs ghosting on them.  Or whatever....

I wouldn't want to bank much money/effort/info on the results...no way it applies to us guys   LOL

Well yes there are some crazies, but 35k members (although hard to know how many are active), so I think it offers some insight.
I think this forum sees the Bowl as a revved-up hobby experience, all PPM and no strings. There's a broad mix of folks including some who want an exclusive relationship, but I think 400+ votes is a good sample
