Yes, your interest is completely normal. Again, I refer to evolutionary mating psychology, which dictates that the average male, WHEN GIVEN A CHOICE TO SHORT-TERM MATE, will prefer a woman at the peak of her fertility.

Obviously, we are no longer living in our ancestral environment, but these evolutionary adaptations have largely survived. So what we have now are possibilities to have various plastic surgery procedures to preserve and replicate "fertility cues" such as enlarged breasts, full lips, liposuction to create narrow waists, fillers to simulate facial adipose tissue, etc. Lesser measures include hair coloring, teeth whiteners and simple lipstick and blush to simulate youth and fertility in women.

to convey female fertility, sexuality and availability, it doesn't matter whether we're 20 or 80 years old, we will respond to essentially the same set of visual stimulus.   This is, of course, why women obsess about age, and also why the youngest 20% of females take care of the sexual needs of 80% of the males (more or less).  You may not want to have a serious conversation with a 22 year old woman, but their young bodies scream sex and fertility.

Also, since human males respond to female visual cues to convey fertility, and not scent, the difference in physical shape and appearance between men and women is much greater than in many other species.  Whereas males and females in a species with a highly refined sense of smell, like dogs, look almost identical.

The female waist-to-hip ratio, for example, communicates important information to a male and is typically associated with youth. Take away the small female waist and it means she's either already preggers or too old to reproduce- both are nature's way of saying "take your sperm elsewhere if you want offspring.  We may not sniff the wind like some species, but we can spot the small waist and round hips of a young female in about a hundredth of a second at a 1/4 mile distance.  I'm sure every man reading this has had that experience.

So the bottom line is you're about as normal as they come and this universal truth is why women spend billions of dollars trying to hold onto the look of youth.  In Victorian days, women wore tight-laced corsets to trick the male eye.  Now they just get breast implants or lipo- but it's all the same.

Women seem to know what they want so much better as they age.  20 y/o look great in photos but need to mature more sexually. (IMHO)

One of the main reasons I hobby is to have GREAT experiences.  If you want great experiences go to a gal that is experienced.  Women in their late thirties seem to be the best.  I haven't seen a gal under 30 in a long time and I'm happy that way.
