The probability tho, is considerably  less, in that charging you vs. questioning you is dependent upon your background and whatever the lovely SB ….err the Pro says to LE.

In fact, your real exposure, by leaving the "maybe" SB alone, is that she might invite a friend over for a late champagne dinner or breakfast.  Not to mention jewelry, sunglasses, and bikinis charged at the gift shop. Lol

I think we all pretty much agree - unless she’s heavily vetted, don’t leave until you’ve checked out.

With regard to the apartment scenario, equally,  we’ve discussed that a bit the past week and are not in favor of the lease being in your name.

Suppose you rent a hotel room for a get together with an SB.  You spend an evening with her and go home.  The plan is that she stays the night and then you go see her the following morning before check out time.   Then, suppose after you leave in the evening, she turns escort and turns a trick in the room that night.   Could you be charged as a pimp in she got caught in that situation?

Same question applies to paying the rent for an apartment for an SB.

Just curious about this. I did this once (the hotel room) for an SB that drove from about 30 miles away.   Saw her in the evening and then the next morning.  Did not occur to me until later that it could be an issue.

In my opinion legal, medical, financial advice should only be given by those who are qualified to do so. Unfortunately there are lot of "know it all" folks on the Internet who will very easily steer you in the wrong direction - and a lot of times they don't have bad intentions.

Each state would be very different.  Generic questions

1. Did you know?
2. Did you pay for the room for that purpose?
3. Did you profit from it?

If all of these are no, you are a victim of fraud.  Not much you will really get for it.  You paid for a room for your girlfriend.  And got cheated on.
