We've long known, or at least suspected, that Seeking's policies regarding their Terms Of Use were applied very differently to men vs women. I posted earlier about getting a warning because I used the term SD in one of my DMs to a woman. Just now I received a DM from someone else which said in part: "you have caught me at a very desperate time. I have to get $120 asap " . Asking for $ in advance is clearly a violation of their policies. And I suspect that if I offered someone $120 to meet me I'd get warned. But evidently the filter is not looking at the women's DMs the same way it's looking at the men's.
It seems like a clear violation that was either not noticed or was ignored. But given how their new AI-driven process must be generating orders of magnitude more alerts, it may take more time for the human review process to look at anything that was flagged for evaluation. If this profile is sending multiple messages like this, it's bound to get nixed as a scammer eventually.
I'm just wondering if that profile will still be active in 24-48 hours. I assume you did NOT reply?
By the way, I am still seeing profile views and favorites from POT's out of the country, especially from South America. They are almost all selfie-verified. Maybe the Latina's really like us "big, fluffy Gringos?" LOL
Still, in the last 3 months, I don't recall seeing any of the mid-30's Asian profiles that are the primary bait for Pig Butcher scams.
You're right, I did NOT reply! I had actually engaged this girl in conversation via text a couple months ago and it ended when she made an upfront request for money, again it was some desperate need. I declined of course. But I wondered if maybe she'd gotten her act together since then. Obviously not.
I did a search and saw my psycho ex from a few years ago has a profile. I thought it was deleted but there she was. Even after showing police reports and arrests for theft and prostitution.
I agree. I get some idiotic messages about violating their TOS or a non-approved part of my profile. However, so long as I paid the fee, they post my profile. I also noticed SB's can send directly messages with "PPM" in it which seems their bot should catch. I found that a "cash" emoji works without a violation notice. But still, got to get off site as fast as possible.
