For those who are on both seeking and WYP - did you make any changes to your profile text or just copied and pasted it from seeking ?  

What other enhancements can you make to come across as more desirable on WYP ?  

Any pointers or experiences on WYP appreciated

I've avoided WYP and SB since I've had success on SA and SDM.  The idea of ebay bids for a dinner date or paying for tokens doesn't appeal to me.

I was just thinking about posting a write up on my current WYP experience... The full post will come later. But I'll give you my preliminary feedback here wrt profiles.  

 
I returned to WYP about 4 months ago, mainly just to kick the tires a bit and see if the site was as bad as I expected.  I've now had 5 offers accepted. 2 were Pig Butcher or pay in advance scammers. 1 was a BSC (bat-shit-crazy) minor porn star who I suspect was just on there to GPS simps for her pimp. 1 was also a porn star, minus the crazy, who ended up joining me with my current Asian Porn Star SB for a Bucket List threesome. The last is a 21-year old ballerina who has agreed to a sugar arrangement after 3 dates and our 1st BCD is scheduled next week.  

 
Compared to typical Seeking results (is there really any such thing as typical?) I am perhaps slightly over-performing.  But the sample set of POT's and the short time frame (4 months) is probably too small to draw any conclusions.  

 
Here's my profile approach and some other tips:  
1. Since the site has, like Seeking, de-emphasized P4P, I toned down my profile text to focus only on dating and making friends. They have removed the checkbox for Sugaring, in the Dating Objectives section of profiles, but POT's can still mention it in profile text.  
2. I added text about fun (non-BCD) activities like wine-tasting, live music, etc.  
3. I use fewer pictures, and recommend you do not use any shirt-off pics or anything that comes off as "dirty old man."  

 
About the "incentive" system:  
1. I never offer more than $150 and try to stay closer to $100-$125 unless she is very hot, mentions something about "mutual" "sugar" or "FWB" in some way, and I have properly vetted her pics and profile info with zero yellow or red flags.  
2. I won't make a 1st offer to any POT with a starting ask over $250. I've seen initial asks as high as $600 - which is laughable, considering we can hire an A-List pro for $600 any day of the week.  
3. I always offer, or counter-offer, $50-$75 lower than the max I am willing to pay (regardless of her initial ask).  
4. Most will counter my offer, and I will re-counter up to my max. Surprisingly, most (perhaps 80%) will accept my offer.  
5. If accepted, spend site credits ASAP and swap contact info in the site message system. As with Seeking, no P4P or other sexual chat on site!  
6. Try to schedule your date asap. The longer you wait, the greater the chance she will ghost you. The longer SHE keeps you waiting, the greater the chance she is a scammer or Pig Butcher.  
7. Pick a date location that is not expensive. There is no reason to incur a $400 dinner bill just to find out she's not a good Sugar candidate.

Netnoy — I have a couple off seeking that I can see but i am kinda getting bored w the generic next door type and need to up the game  

The really hot ones - and I mean atleast 5ft 5 or better, tight body (no flab)  and flat tummy, natural b/c cup and thigh gap and a decent if not amazing face, are getting harder to secure for the generic 500 ppm

The super hot ones demand a 200 meet fees and I don’t indulge them as it’s basically a scam they run on naive SDs for the most part

Question: I have had a profile for some time but have not actually used it in quite awhile. But I am now getting pop ups that tell me a) I must change my profile username to a real name and b) I must use a visible main profile photo in order to even begin communicating. Have you experienced the same things? The first is no biggie but I am not comfortable having a fully identifiable photo up front.

I don't go over 500 per date.  Period.  I've had tons of girls ask for 1k and up and immediately came down to 4-500 without a problem.  Sure tons tell me to fuck off, call me cheap or scream they get more from other guys.  But I'll bet it's a one off.  I'll pay you 800 one time hoping it's GPS just to get cut short.

I think you need to invest more time in messages to get what you want.  Remember, you don't need every girl to fuck you over and over again.  You just need one. Or two.  Or three.

I have noticed that Seeking no longer allows special characters (like the _ underscore) in new profile names. But I haven't changed my profile name, so I still have the "_" in mine.  

 
I recall that new rules also went into effect with the return of Brandon (Seeking's owner) to management that include a requirement of a Primary pic on all profiles. This appears to be an effort to reduce scammers.  My profile has always had several pics, so again, I don't have any personal experience with these rules.  

 
I am not married, no GF, retired and no kids, so I don't care if someone recognizes me on the site. Other's here may have some good ideas or techniques for how they try to stay anonymous. Just remember that Seeking is working hard to position itself as a dating site, not a hook up, escort, or cheaters (ala Ashley Madison) site. It is counter-intuitive for a dating site to allow profiles to mask the looks of those who are looking to attract a date. I'm sure you would not bother with a POT profile if she had no public pictures.

As I prepared to counter an offer, I received the following notice:

Completed profiles allow you to make and accept WYP Date Offers, and add members to your favorites.
Upload at least one public photo

I'm in the same market you are and am not having a problem.  I think you either need more volume or need to be clear on what you are open to.  Plenty of girls start at 1k in the ask then immediately accept half of that and still show up with clean tests, take it bare, and want to see me again a few days later

Great Info Herb, as usual.  Like NN, the idea of paying a girl to meet me for dinner has never appealed to me, so I haven't used WYP.  But if it's actually a legit Pathway to Pussy, I might reconsider. One question:  When you agree on a price for that initial meetup, does she expect you to send it in advance?  Does she trust you to keep your promise if you say only cash when we meet?

The rules don't change for me. No cash in advance - ever. I prepare a small card and envelope (buy a 20-pack on Amazon for less than $10) and put her cash in that. I leave that envelope in my shirt pocket where she can presumably see it until the end of the date. Then as we are getting ready to leave, I hand her the envelope. Anyone nearby who sees this will likely assume it's some kind of greeting card.  

 
Since we are dealing with relatively small amounts, less than $125, the risk of loss to either of us is small. Even if I stiff her (no pun intended) on the cash, she still gets free food and/or drinks. Even if she demands the cash up front and then bails (hasn't happened - yet) it still hurts less than losing a full BCD allowance.  

 
And I make it clear that any future platonic dates will not be compensated (I will pay for the food & drink), unless we have explored a possible sugar relationship. Even if she says she is interested in sugaring, I make it clear that I won't be providing allowance until we agree to and complete a full sugar date.  

 
There are more nuances to WYP dating, of course. And I'm still learning them.  This week I received two low offers ($5 and $10) and after I accepted them, I suspect they are both Pig Butchers.  Both of them are in no hurry to meet... which is a red flag.
