I had a fairly stable rotation going for quite a while. A few long term SBs, plus a few new ones every now and then to make up for the inevitable attrition. But then 5 of them disappeared in a relatively short period of time! Including 2 who were long term women I'd grown extremely fond of. Of the 5 who are gone, 2 actually had the decency to say goodbye, the other 3 just ghosted on me. So I've been working on rebuilding my rotation ever since.
Recently I've had higher that average success, and right now find myself with 7 really lovely young SBs I can call. 4 of them are only 19yo! The other two are 23! But damn I can barely keep up trying to visit them all frequently enough to keep 7 arrangements going simultaneously. Luckily several of them are very busy themselves and aren't available more than once or twice a month. But still, 7 is too many! What a fantastic problem to have! I think about 4 would be ideal, especially if they were 4 very super hot sex fiends and also reliable and considerate about scheduling visits. So I wonder how it works for you guys. What's the perfect number of SBs to have at any given time in your rotation? How many feels like too many? How many feels like too few?It's very easy to go quickly from "too few" to "too many" right back to "too few all over again in just a matter of a few weeks.
Here is what I like to have. I like two very regular SB's in my rotation who will come over multiple times a week for a booty call, usually they are young college students and I actually tell them I don't mind being their own personal ATM as long as they keep me happy and the "per visit" cost is low. I live very close to a college campus so it's easy for these girls to simply send me a text, come on over for a quick (or not so quick) fuck and pick up some cash pretty much whenever they want.
Additionally, I will have 3-4 SB's that I see on a much less regular basis, maybe once a week or less, and then I try to have another 3-4 SB's that I only see when I am in their town. So I guess I have a total of around 7-8 total SB's in my rotation at any one time. The problem I find is that the regular girls will sometimes go on vacation at the same time leaving me to scramble to try to find someone to see on short notice, or I will have 2 or 3 of them that all get horny and hungry at the same time and then I have to start doing a juggling act as I no longer have the desire to see more than two different girls on the same day and quite honestly I really prefer to see only one. As I start to accept "old age" my ideal number of times to get laid each week is about six times, down from the ten times a week that I considered "Ideal" only a few short years ago.
I am CONSTANTLY having to look for new SB's as it's rare that I see any of them for more than just a few months at the most. Some of them just move on and ghost on me as has happened to you, Some of them I grow tire of, and others just seem to fade away through what I can only assume is mutual disinterest. The good thing is, as anyone who reads these boards can easily figure out for themselves, I have a LOT of time on my hands and I actually enjoy the chase of finding that next SB. It's a rare day that I don't log onto SA
Logging on to SA is the first thing I do every day! It's still very exciting to see if I got some new messages that might lead to new playmates to enjoy. So I'm constantly looking for new SBs too. I just wish the ebb and flow were more steady and predictable though. Pointless thing to hope for!
Your proximity to a college campus, plus your single status gives you the remarkable ability to allow the girls to call you for cash booty calls at any time. It's an enviable situation that I suspect very few SDs enjoy. None of my SBs live close enough to me for that, and most live in the city 50 miles away. But two of my current SBs always host our sex parties at their places and one I ususally pick up and take to my house and the rest seem quite delighted to play inside the RV. In the last couple of years I think I used a motel exactly once.
The way you manage your rotation is pretty much what I do as well, with one big difference. Substitute the word month for the word week in your post and it's closer to what I do these days. I try to see my regulars once or twice a month, others maybe once a month or less frequently. My brain still tells me to get laid every day, but my body can't handle more than 3-4 times per week. And my wallet prefers once or twice a week!
It's definitely a feast or famine proposition. and while my appetite is admittedly larger than most, I think you are doing pretty damn good for yourself, especially considering you are on the other side of 70. I am not even 60 yet and I have had to make some concessions to age already. It wasn't that many years ago. (way less than 10) that I was seeing 4-5 different women in a single day, those days are gone forever I am afraid. lol
One other reason I make myself available for booty calls is that although I live in a college town, it's a very small city with some seriously limited options. It's not like when I lived in Dallas where I could fuck someone different every single day for the rest of my life without EVER having to repeat. You can do that in a city of millions, it's quite another thing in a small city of barely 100,000
As noted above, your rotation, just like the available pool of POT SB's will ebb and flow over shorter or longer periods of time. If most arrangements tended to last 12-24 or more months, then it would be simple to pick a number that fits your SB equation at an optimal level (Perfect # of SB's = Monthly Budget divided by Allowance per SB times Libido).

But since arrangements can end after one BCD or go on for months or even years, you need to decide how important it is to have enough SB's around to satisfy your libido versus how long you can go without getting laid (or getting laid via an alternate like a pro, civvie, or, (gawd forbid!) your wife or GF. :p

If you are GaGa, you can't possibly imaging living in a world where pussy is delivered daily within 30 minutes of a text or phone call. An enviable life indeed! For those mere mortals among us, getting laid 2 to 3 times a week or even 2 to 3 times a month may be just right.

For me, especially having just gone through establishing a new rotation, I find that 2 primary/regular SB's plus 3 to 5 secondary SB's works well. The primary's get a fairly regular schedule once every other week, with my #1 also being my take along for parties, holiday events, and short term travel with other couples. We call each other BF and GF in pubic and my circle of friends accept it (because I dont' disclose my sugar life to them). The secondary SB's are always on stand by. I continue to text them, and try to schedule them at least once every 4-6 weeks for BCD. Sometimes they drift away, sometimes they stick around. My elusive Unicorn has been back in the Philippines for the last 6 months and will be back in September. I'll always prioritize my schedule for her. Why is she in the Philippines? Perhaps the key to establishing the "perfect" number is to think of it like managing a sports team. You have your star players and you want to keep them playing as much as possible. Then you have your second string and you want to rotate them onto the field occasionally to keep them relevant and get value from their participation on the team. But even with a championship team line up you are ALWAYS scouting for new talent and recruiting the best you can find.
