What happens on WYP

I promised this group a review of my recent adventures using "What's Your Price" (WYP), the older sister site to Seeking.

About 3 months ago, I hid my SA profile (but still renewing every 90 days) to focus on WYP.  This model seems to favor a longer-date game to get to BCD. Out of 8 accepted "incentive offers" (all at $50 to $125), 3 have converted to BCD with mixed results. The other 5 were all Pig Butcher scammers, or similar. In addition, I have declined about 3 offers, that threw off too many red and yellow flags.

Of the three successes, one was a disaster, and I left a post about it. (Search for my post titled: "Her panties dropped")

The next lead to the Porn Star 3-way, and I'm saw her again last weekend (and my Asian PS next week). But this took three dates (only the first was paid) to get to the 3-way event. (Search for my post titled: "Porn-Star SB Threesome")

The third also took three dates before we got to an arrangement and our 1st BCD early last week.

Meanwhile, I still have my Viet Spinner on a regular bi-weekly schedule, and I snuck in my 28-ish AA spinner for a quickie as well.

The WYP model seems to work best for me with a low-key approach. Offers are made and accepted and the 1st date scheduled. Unless her profile specifically states she wants a sugar relationship (like the 1st one that went downhill), I only mention in passing that I have had sugar relationships in my past dating experiences. I do not follow up asking her if she is looking for that. I just let it go and talk about something else. Later, if the date seems to be going well, I find a way to suggest a follow-up date, like going wine tasting. But I make it clear that although I want to see her again and will pay for all date expenses, I will not be providing her any compensation. During the second date, I play it by ear and plant a few thoughtful questions along the way:  "How's the job going? I know how difficult working retail is, especially for the low pay." Later, she may make a comment about some financial struggle, and if it makes sense, I can toss out a lifeline. "Well, maybe I can help you with that if you are interested in going down that path." Totally laid back... no pressure, leave it up to her... I can go there or just be happy as is, etc., etc.  Eventually, I get the question: "How much help can you give me?"

So in total: 11 offers made by me or in some cases made by her has led to 2 successful (but still new) SB arrangements, one a porn star, the other a 21-yr-old professional dancer (with a dancers amazing body!).

Total non-BCD dates to get here: 3 paid (essentially extended paid M&G's) and 5 follow up, unpaid dates (which cost me between $150 - $250 each). So that adds up to maybe $1600-$1800 in pre-BCD allowance.  Not cheap, but the results are real.

For now, I'm not even looking at new WYP profiles, partly because it appears WYP does not have settings to hide your online dates or your profile view activity. And I don't want the ballerina to think I am still looking. The last time I looked at her profile (1 week ago) she had not been active for the previous 2 weeks. So I don't believe she is still looking to meet/date others. But I could be wrong, of course.

Vetting WYP Profiles: This is the same as vetting profiles from any site. Nothing new here. But I will note that perhaps 40% of profiles have very little text, with some having none. These get a pass from me.

Costs: No monthly fees. You must buy "credits" to unlock messaging after an offer has been accepted. The higher the offer, the more credits required to unlock. Credits are sold in bundles:   100 for $50, 500 for $150, and 1,000 for $250. They never expire. Unlocking messages for an offer around $100 costs about 40 credits (not sure, but that's the ballpark).

Interesting observation:  I had accepted an offer from a tall blond before I started my vetting of pics. That was a bad decision, as when I started doing reverse image searches, I discovered "she" was trans.  I asked "her" about it in off-site texts and called out that there was no indication in "her" profile. The reply: "That should be obvious."  I declined to go further and ended the chat.  About 2 days later I noticed the profile was gone - either I was blocked, or the profile was banned. About 1 week later I got an email from WYP apologizing for a "poor user experience" and refunding the credits I used to accept the offer. The profile name was not mentioned.

Conclusion: Success can be found on WYP, though it's a longer cycle from offer to BCD, and I spent a good deal of money on non-BCD dates. I'm sure I could have planned less expensive dates along the way, so I reduce the impact of that from my final "score."

You are taking one for the team totally

I was planning on wyp until I fell into couple of insane arrangements off seeking recently but your posts have been a great guide and saved me some dough

I've never tried WYP so this report from the trenches is very useful.  Corroborates my feeling that I most likely would not enjoy the process.  One question though, which might change my attitude.  Are the women you find on WYP the same ones you see on SA, SB, and other sites?  Because if the ones on WYP are a different fishing pool, I might want to dip my pole in those waters.

I'd say 55-65% of the women on WYP are also on Seeking.  It's usually fairly easy to find the matching profile on each platform either by searching profile names or by filtering for age, height, etc.  It's more difficult to search by profile text strings, as I suspect POT's who list on both don't do a cut & paste for text.

Those women on WYP and not Seeking seem to be leaning away from Sugaring, or they are mostly there as "professional" daters who want to make income going on 3-6 platonic dates a month, or perhaps each week.  These women are either not interested in P4P, or they don't see the POT SD's on either site as "rich enough" for their financial appetite (and are probably using one of those sites targeting ultra-rich CEO types).

Those on Seeking and not WYP seem to be just unaware of WYP.
