Sometimes telling the truth is completely overrated and can't possibly be good for any of the parties involved. This is one of those times. I don't even know what my real "number" is. I can only guess that it's around four THOUSAND different women if you include hookers, civvies and SB's over 43 years of being sexually active. Just how do you tell a woman that she is number 4,357 on an ever growing list? lol Ok, I will confess, I do tell the truth "kind of" When asked my "number" I often respond "I don't really know, maybe a few thousand, why do you ask?" No woman EVER believes me when I say that and I quickly change the subject. I do remember one time I had just finished DATY with an SB who was in her late twenties and apparently I had done a pretty good job, she remarked that I must have "done it" thousands of times which was why I was so good at it, but then she was quick to add that she didn't mean that I had done it with thousands of "different" women. I just smiled and laughed silently at the irony of her statement. lol
Your thousands put you at the extreme end of the bell curve! Well done! But it's quite true that these young SBs are attracted to our experience and our skill set and to our wisdom too. But they would be taken aback if they truly knew how many women we've banged and what their number was! So it's counterproductive to answer that question fully. When I've been asked I just say something like, oh, I've been with a number of women, every one is different so there's always more to learn. What's interesting to me is that I often ask them how many sex partners they've had and they are often quite happy to tell me.
The only time I've answered honestly was with a pro turned fuck buddy who would tell me everything, including how she once fucked her nasty building maintenance guy to get 24/7 access to a lounge in her building (I know, this one is a SLUT) . So I had no doubt she'd done WAY more guys than I had done girls. I even showed her my fuck journal once with her name showing up dozens of times amongst hundreds of other girl's names, always with positive notes next to her name. She was impressed I had banged so many and was happy I genuinely liked banging her. She did say something along the lines of "That's why you fuck me so good".
To my regular sugar babies, civvies and the wife, I just say I've slept with a couple dozen women and leave it at that. I feel like most women would get weirded out at about 100. How many girls can you thousand+ guys remember?

As for how many girls I can remember, it's funny how some fucks are memorable and others are not. I have completely forgotten women in a matter of hours and OTOH I can remember some of the sex I had 40 years ago. I no longer see "hundreds" of women in any given year, so I guess I would at least recognize most of the women I have fucked in the last year or two. I do know that when I was going to Costa Rica at least once a month and seeing 3-4 different women almost every day I would have women I had fucked before coming up to me every day that I had no recollection of ever having met. but in my feeble defense, I drink, and I sometimes drink a LOT. lol
