Lately I've been favorited by many SBs who are one or two airline flights away.  Some of them seem like lovely prospects who I'd be very interested in if they were local.  I've replied and told them as much.  And that I've always dated locally, never done a fly in, and asked what they'd expect or need.  The conversation has always devolved into nothing, usually when I've said, no, I won't send you $ for airfare.  You send me your photo ID and I'll book the flight. End of conversation.  And sometimes their asks are just too high.  Are you also getting more long distance favorites?  How do you handle them?  Any successes with fly-ins?

The Fly Ins are bogus, it's a scam tactic to get you to send them money for airfare and then they disappear. I've even had them say "Hey I'll fly in for an M&G but I need money because my car payment is due, can you front me this until I see you?" Uh, no, because if I do I will never see you. Newbies must fall for this enough that it's a pretty reliable hustle for some of these scammers. Never send money to anyone for any reason, the risk is too high - you'll never see them again.

So....this is why they rarely work:
The majority of your costs will be flight/hotels/food/entertainment.
Girls are not expecting "budget" so be thinking 1K+ per day to keep them happy.
I mean I suppose you could pick them up in the RV and have them live there   LOL
I've done it several times, but probably wouldn't repeat.

For me, buying airline tickets should only be discussed AFTER you have been together for long enough to establish trust and a desire or need to fly her somewhere.  Even then, as you say Papa Sweet, the 1st time I will book and pay for the tickets and that requires I have a pic of her drivers' license (or passport if we are flying internationally). And as my recent "I am an Idiot" posts have shown, even that path can lead to ruin.  

 
But as my post title says, this is already covered by my 30-minute drive rule (and others) in several ways:  
1. I live "near" 2 airports. But both are between 40-90-minute drives depending on traffic.  
2.  There are no commercial flights that are shorter than a 30-minite car trip.  
3. This requires that I pay in advance of a M&G, either to her or to the airline. If I buy the ticket myself, I still risk losing money (and time) if she bails on the flight, or changes the itinerary, or does something else like taking the flight and then avoiding me and leaving the airport by herself (or with someone else): All of which have happened to me over the years.  

 
So, nope. Even with one or multiple video chats or facetime in advance. I've been burned by the advance vid chat and then cash and dash before. (Posted about that maybe 2 years ago.)  

 
The only way this is viable for me is when she buys the tickets with her own funds, including transportation to her airport and from my airport to the M&G location Assuming that all goes well, including a successful BCD, I will offer to reimburse the travel costs - maybe.

Pretty much the responses I expected!!  I was just texting a pyt this morning who refuses to let me make the airline reservations, insists I send her $ in advance, you know the drill.  Of course I declined.  I guess the only reason I've considered it is that I have in fact enjoyed some lovely short term flings with out of towners in the past.  But they were already here for their own reasons, looking for a nice hookup.  Totally different dynamic.

First, there's a difference between flying in a girl you've never met and a girl you already know.

The only way I've flown in a new girl was when I told her that she needed to fly herself to me and I would reimburse in cash (plus allowance we agreed upon). This worked very well to bring me a petite, Asian, midwestern engineer who wanted to visit the eastern city where I was anchored at the time. She had to trust me to reimburse, but she also had her own means. I never had to provide any documentation related to my name.

I've also flown a familiar girl to me under the same conditions. (She flys herself to me, and I reimburse in cash after we meet.) In this case she trusts me totally to follow through, and I never need to reveal any identifying info.

Thirdly, I paid in advance to transport two 18yo hotties to me. But it was only bus fare, not flights. We had met before in their city. When I realized that only dozens of dollars would deliver two, sweet, 18yo pussies to me in my city, I did not hesitate.

Lastly, date a stewardess. My last flight attendant could come to me almost no matter where I was. No cost for her or for me. Endless pussy, limited only by her need to get back to work.  

My bottom line is this: I don't give anybody money to fly to me. If they like me and they trust me, they can collect their money after we meet. However, if I already know them, I might make an exception.
