Spend a little time reviewing each lost SB and look for the yellow and red flags you missed the 1st time.  

 
And as I've suggested before, never burn bridges. Just because one POT fell flat doesn't mean that's a permanent fail. Leave the door open to cycle back. Her situation and decision criteria can change.
