You really won't know the answer to this question unless you make efforts to see some local talent. As to WHY you're not doing so, my guess is as good as yours. Since it's impossible to go into your complete sexual/psychological history on this board, there's no answer beyond conjecture.

Why not perform the following experiment:

1. Sit down in front of your computer
2. Log into TER
3. Go to reviews for your nearest city
4. Pick a provider and get ready to send that email/make that phone call.

Notice how your hands get sweaty, your entire body gets clammy and you start hyperventilating? Notice how you begin to feel nausea and run for the nearest toilet? Notice how you run screaming from the computer and lock the door behind you? If that happens, then yes, you're paranoid of local talent and must immediately book with a visiting provider working the fucktoury.

Never mind that local talent can be just as pretty, just as hot in the sack and every bit as skilled at managing boundaries so you don't get overly obsessed (if she's that hot, mind you.) Nope - if you are paranoid of local galz, then you must never attempt to contact them. Never mind that touring chicks are also locals somewhere (unless they're from outer space.) There MUST be something special about these mysterious "visitors."

I wonder what it is. In the meantime, I guess you've taken the concept of familiarity breeding contempt to a whole new paranoid level .

I don't think it is any big deal.

For whatever reason, it just seems that I've gravitated to out of town gals.

Tell me that they make more money when they tour, and most of their clients are from out of town (Of course I am in Vegas so the clients mostly being from out of town could be because of that *grin*), so you are not alone in your preference for non-local ladies.

From talking to ladies I think the touring ladies do better because of the "limited time only" nature of visiting a different city.  If a client can only play once that week or month or whatnot, and there is a local lady that should still be there when he can play again, or a visiting lady that he doesn't know when she will be back, if she will be back, or even if she comes back if he will be able to play then. I think most clients err on the side of seeing the lady this might be their only chance to see.

I use to pretty much stick to locals...Since I live in DC, there were plenty of hot babes to keep me busy.  However, when traveling, I absolutely like to hook up with as many Providers as my schedule and budget allows...Being the recipient of an outcall visit is a nice change of pace.   I have noticed, the last year or so I, like you, have been seeing more visiting ladies than locals. Not sure why.  Maybe one reason is touring ladies tend to be available on weekends and evenings.  many if not most DC local talent kinda like banker hours.
