and then as we all got familiar with the term naturally it got shortened to just POT.

Where it comes to SD/SB sites, "Seeking.com" formerly known as "Seeking Arrangement" is by far the top site, I have had minimal success at another site "Secret Benefits" but I think I have met about 50 times as many SB's off of Seeking as I have SB. It really is no contest.

help with terminology??

I'm reading some of the sugar posts trying to find the best path to take. I'm finding acronyms that I'm not yet familiar with. I'm assuming GPS is golden pussy syndrome but what the heck is POT?

Also, any leads on sites to join/avoid would be greatly appreciated. PM is fine as well.

Urban Dictionary is your friend

urbandictionary.com has definitions of most all of the commonly used abbreviations. But not all. POT, meaning potential sugar baby, seems unique to this forum. UD thinks it means marijuana. BCD, meaning Behind Closed Doors is UD's #2 definition, while GPS is #1. So if your research fails to adequately explain something you read hear, go ahead and ask! This is a cordial forum, we don't put anybody down for asking a legit question.
