So in the past 3 days I've been favorited 31 times by potential SBs on SA.  All were unsolicited first contacts, many seemingly never have viewed my profile! Of those, exactly 2 are from my local area and attractive enough I might consider dating them.  All the rest are from Venezuela, or other foreign lands, or from hundreds or thousands of miles away in the US. One was a T-girl!  I know times are tough and there are lots of people struggling right now.  But do these women actually think they are going to get money from strangers they meet on SA?  There's always been an element of desperation in certain segments of the Sugar Bowl, but now it seems to have grown exponentially along with the virus. Makes me sad.

Pickings are slim. No colleges gals in town, no traveling, and no restaurants, bars, or hotels for meet-ups. I've been chatting up 4 POT. 2 seem like they are SB and I'm pretty sure 2 are UTR pros.

I have little confidence I'll be meeting anyone soon so I'm mostly just passing the time.

Getting the same thing. Most of them are looking to set up the online pic/video thing. Somehow, they seem to want a $100/week allowance where they send you a couple of hot videos/pics daily. Not sure why one would pay $400/month for somethings thats readily available on the old Internet for free, but I guess that's me. I generally stay at from the foreign ones. I do,get the occasional British girls who travel to the states (code name for UTR pro) which are intriguing.

I haven't been on Seeking for over a year, but I would get those out of state or international pings too.  Most apparently never viewing my profile.  I can imagine in these times that has picked up a bit.

I've been getting favorited by girls from Venezuela since long before the virus shut everything down. I was never sure what their end game is, because they never reach out with a message.

The same here with Venezuelans reaching out and I must say that most of them are smoking hot. What a country for women!

They’re smoking hot because the pics are fake. When you respond they always want something online. The few times I’ve clicked through see what happens they stop responding when I say I want to skype them to get to know them and then fly there to meet them. I am completely bullshitting, but if you were going to set something up long distance like that, it would be the only logical way to do it and if they were legit, they’d play along.

I get them as well, maybe 3 a day when my profile is active. I never bother to respond. Even if they were legit (they are not), it's a waste of time. Just like any POT that's more than a 30-minute drive from my home (I'll go up to 60 mins for a super hottie - aka fit, 19 year old Asian chick , I already know the logistics of distance will be a pain. Out of state or out of country POT's are a pass. There are over 1,500 POT's between 18 and 28 who live within 10 miles of me. If I open the search to 25 miles, that number goes up to over 35,000!  You may need to deal with longer ranges if you, like GaGa, live in Pussy Siberia. But even he won't look for POT's outside of his travel comfort zone.

Why would I bother to drive any further, let alone pay for airfare for a POT I've never met?

If I am correct, if they view you from the app and swipe right to "favorite" you that does not count as a profile view. It aggravates me as well because I actually do want them to read mine.

But they are a very close second place to Colombia, and once Maduro finished what Hugo started and completely fucked the Venzuelan people for the last several years you have been finding hot Venezolanas all over Latin America in places that used to be dominated by the Colombianas,  

 
I haven't been there for years, but I was amazed just how hot the Venezolanas were the first time I went to Venezuela. Too bad it's VERY unlikely that I will be returning any time soon.  

 
I do agree that I too get most of my unsolicited "favorites" from Venezuela and the Philippines. A bunch of hotties there too, I do like White girls, Black girls and everything in between, but I have to confess I really like the "in between" girls from Asia and South America the best.

I just started on SA today and notice that almost everyone who favorited me did so without reading my profile probably because they are not what I say i am looking for. I "hide" their profile almost right away so they don't clutter up my seeing other profiles that have more potential.

I also do the same quickly for girls who have no clear photo of their body size and shape because I figure they have something to hide and I don't have time for that.

Yes, I have to expand my search area because there are barely 100,000 total people living within 25 miles of me with maybe 350 total POT's so yes, I don't have much of a choice but to expand my range, but you are 100% correct that I don't waste anytime at all bothering with POT's hundreds or even worse THOUSANDS of miles away from me.

In my experiences, there are really three "sources" for this:  

 
First and most obvious, POT's who do a search and just go down the results page Favoriting any profile that hits some personal criteria like Annual Income, Net Worth, or a pic.  This is a shotgun approach that usually generates multiple replies from guys who think they must be the shit since this hottie picked them ("She specifically picked me! I must be special!" - You are not.)  

 
Second, and probably not obvious to us old guys who use PC screens more than phone apps, is POT's who search from the Mobile App (now only on Andriod phones?). In this mode, SA functions much like Tinder. If she sees your pic and swipes one way you get a favorite and the next guys pops up on her phone. It's automatic. I have inadvertently favorited a few POT profiles that way (when the mobile app was still on iPhones) and realized later I had no intention to do so , nor did I look at their profiles.  

 
Third, and least common, it just a site glitch. I have gently mentioned to a few POTs who favorited me that I'd appreciate it if they would look at my profile and get back to me if interested... only to see a few push back that they had read my profile and them provide some context to back that up.  

 
Having said that, we appear to all be plagued with useless favorites from POT's in another state, country, or who are obvious cat fishers.  It's all part of the process because...

Completely agree on the source of why this happens. I view the favorites as no different than performing a regular search. If it’s outside my geo search or not really my type, just ignore and move on. If it’s someone that intrigues me, I’ll go ahead and engage. I actually get a better response rate on messaging the ones who have favorited me but as previously noted, a large amount of fakes and scams to sort thru. I view it as all part of the overall recruiting process. I’ve also noticed a direct correlation to if I start clicking on a few profiles from a particular area, I will start to get a lot more (if you don’t believe me, start clicking on all those Venezuelan ladies who keep favoriting you and see what happens over the next few days after). I most likely recruit much different than most as I travel extensively so have a lot more flexibility in terms of the geo’s I’m searching. I’m pretty specific where I want the geo of the #1 in my rotation but much more flexible for the others.
