Infection is NOT the only reason for varying consistency in vaginal fluids. Please stop perpetuating this type of misinformation.

You probably already know that women do not have traditional "cum" like men do. Yes, some women ejaculate a urine-like fluid during orgasm, but this fluid is usually very clear and copious. You seem to be referring to vaginal fluid generated during sexual arousal, or even natural vaginal moisture. The consistency varies depending on the administration of oral contraceptives, menstrual cycle, or even diet. During ovulation, the mucosal discharge from the vagina is often thin, clear and "stringy." Later on in the monthly cycle, the fluid becomes thicker and changes consistency (even odor.) This is normal and not a sign of disease or illness.

Of course some women contract yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis. The discharge becomes more like "cottage cheese" and can have a "fishy" odor. Other times when there is an acidity imbalance in the vagina, it can become very dry and there is no fluid at all.

Vaginal mucous has many "normal" consistencies, and it changes throughout the month.  Here is an article with more information than I am sure the OP was looking for...

We were typing at about the same time.  My itchy fingers couldn't help but put out some 101 vaginal info, as it is obviously needed.  Fortunately it is ONLY my fingers which are itchy.

I used to notice that my semen is sometimes clear and watery and sometimes thick and white.

A tantrika I know recommends that I eat a lot of walnuts to increase volume and make the consistency thicker.  It seems to be working.

By the way, do other gals have any preference as to how a man's semen looks?

Watery, creamy...does not matter to me. I don't like it too bitter and you, Mr Fisher are the poster boy for sweet semen...or at least that's what I've heard as you take care and do the pineapple treatment. I'm sure this is a welcome treat for the ladies who CIM you.
