Just curious to see the number of SBs requesting $1k or more for a meetup. Obviously there are possibly a few takers and it's true escorts are getting this too.. but...
To afford on any regular basis guys would probably need to fork over 50k a year including all the extras, which would probably mean 500k in income which would mean 0.7 percent of the population (probably a lot less since many are not SDs).
Wondering where this comes from. Maybe some gals will not really want to do this but will be OK if the price is high enough.  
But my impression the guys who can afford this are probably not going to give them the consistency and relationship they probably want. I don't negotiate like this but it seems these gals are leaving a lot on the table.
Interested to hear any experiences with these high rollers (and if any SBs are on here, feel free to chime in).

It is an interesting phenomena and extends to other types of discretionary spending.  For example, pre-pandemic I took a SB to the Ritz Carlton at Laguna Beach.  Room was around $600 per nite.  Today, you can't touch a room for less than $1300-1500.  Same for other luxury hotels, such as the Malibu Beach Inn and Shutters.  I think this cost explosion is a lingering effect of the pandemic.  My hunch is that folks became much less resistant to overspending and taking on debt.  Is it sustainable?  Probably not.  I believe the day of reckoning is coming.  How severe it will be is anyone's guess.  Doubling the price of the same freaking hotel and the same provider/SB in a space of 3 years just isn't  sustainable or sensible from an economic standpoint.  I agree with you that the "base" isn't large enough to support these  prices.

There are several types of sugar babes out there.  Some are looking for the pretty woman fantasy.  Some are just looking to date/marry rich guys.  Of those looking mostly for an income, some are just seeking supplemental income, and some are more desperate.

Some of us are just fishing in the income seeker pool, not being rich or particularly handsome.  The SB's who are just looking for supplemental income are probably more picky and demanding a higher price tag.  They don't need the cash as they probably have regular jobs.  Naturally they could be making more by charging less and dating more often, but they just aren't that motivated and instead opt for the occasional big haul or the fantasy of the big haul.

The more desperate type, if they have any numerical sense, would be wise to cut their rates and date more often, like the K-girl model.  Unfortunately, they're probably desperate because they aren't rational thinkers, and those who have high rates anyway and no customers are usually too proud or too status conscious.

So the desperate types set the price floor, and the pretty woman wannabes set the price ceiling.

I could see potentially hitting a high-end escort for a "once in lifetime" experience, and that could make sense for the gal as well. With verification and reviews, a pro could breeze into town and get 10 or more dates in a few dates and then move on to the next city.  
For the SB it's more complicated because the process is lengthier. The advantage for her is that she gets to choose who she wants, but time and energy is needed on both sides to make this work. I suppose it's possible for these gals to pick up a mogul or athlete, but they are more likely to spit this girl out after one or two sessions, just because they can.

6-7 years ago I met a girl on Seeking who I gave $1k, twice. My methods were different then. I wouldn't have entertained it had I known the cost before we met.
