I forgot to add the following (negative) point:

Online Presence
There is a very large number of SBs shown as online every day, and many at odd hours,
i.e. many still shown as online at 1 AM. Seems unreasonable and almost certainly scammy.

The topic of alternatives to Seeking comes up with some regularity, and there is a regular but limited set of alternate sites mentioned.

One site I have not seen mentioned in OurSecret. An SB I was chatting with on Reddit mentioned that she uses this site, and that in her DC area there is a significant number of SDs. Anyone here ever used OurSecret?

It does not like my email so I can't

Same problem here when I tried using an iCloud email address (i.e. the kind every iphone user has...)

DickE mentioned there are a lot of SBs in DC on this site so it piqued my interest a little. At a glance, most of the SBs are different than the ones on Seeking. You can purchase credits to send messages, view secret photos, and videos (10 credits per request). I might buy 100 credits (59$) to give it a try. I have not received any BOT messages yet, so it's a good sign.

One SB told me she used OurSecret, and that there are a substantial number of SDs on it, at least in DC.

The fact that they use a credit model, made wonder if it wasn't a spin off of SD.  I discovered a while back that SB is a spin off of SD (they share profiles).  Looking at the terms of all three sites, they all reference the same cancellation address.  So, I would expect OS to share profiles as well.

That said, financially, SD has been a good fit for me.  I'm an intermittent SD (currently on pause), so I appreciate the 'pay as you go' model.  As for quality of SBs, I have found a broad array of desirable SBs.  And, have had a few good exchanges (again, intermittent).  But, there also a large number of 'bait' profiles (impossibly beautiful women, with very generic profiles).

I'm in a situation now where I let my credits run out, and even though I've hidden my profile, SBs are still messaging me.  But, in order to view the messages, I would have to buy credits.  So, how convenient for SD that the impossibly attractive SBs are able to contact me, despite my hidden profile (sarcasm).

Bottom Line:  For what I'm looking for, SD is a good choice for me.  As such, I imagine SB or OS would work as well.

I purchased some credits and sent messages (10 credits per message) to about 10 POTs. Only one replied to my messages, but all ten granted me access to their private photos. It costs another 10 credits to unlock their private photos. The one who responded told me she is looking for a long-term relationship, so we are not a good match. After I unlocked the other nine's private photos, they stopped responding. I also received a few messages, but they all went radio silent after I replied to them (it costs another 10 credits to reply). I am pretty sure they just want you to use up all your credits. Their software probably automatically grants photo access after you send messages. Stick to Seeking even after they hiked their monthly membership fee from 100$ to 130$.

Secret Benefits must be a clone of some kind.  They use the exact same business model with all kind of tricks to get you to spend your credits on sawdust.  Waste of time and money IMO.

Signup
I signed up for a free account on OurSecret (OS). The process was very straightforward, no verification or selfies required.  One surprising feature was that there was no verification of the email address I gave them, which I thought was universal. Also, I was able to use a photo set which is banned on Seeking. I use a VPN, and initially with an IP address located outside the US I was only able to select physical locations in that country. I had to ensure the VPN was using a US IP address to select a US physical location.

Value Proposition
Is appallingly bad.  To start a conversation initial messages cost 10 credits, while the base OS subscription gives only 100 credits – so can only contact a maximum of 10 women. I say max as unlocking “secret” photos also costs 10 credits, so if you do that, you will only be able to contact even fewer women. That is a totally insufficient number. On Seeking (SA), I easily contacted 20-30 women per day (with tailored intro for each + standard spiel, so I was never accused of spamming). So, in a month on SA I typically messaged literally hundreds of women, to yield maybe 1 or 2 BCD dates (the “yield” is poor). Bottom line: to message the same number of women on OS as I did on SA would cost well over $1k, assuming the same yield factor. This alone disqualifies the site in my view.

Initial Impressions:

Number of women
When I first signed on I was very surprised at the number of women said to be in my area. As I had never heard of OS until two weeks ago, I was expecting very few. But no, many, many! And not ones I recognize from SA.  Unless it is a total scam, the only explanation is that given by brownjack - that the site shares its user base with SD/SB, i.e. it is a clone.

Age of women
Many more, younger women shown than on SA. But there is clearly some systematic distortion going on (IMHO). Many 18-20 year olds look like they actually are in their 20s, 20-25 year olds look like 30s, etc. One gal down as mid 20s looked 50!  Of course some of this may be due to the women themselves, but not all. I strongly suspect the site is systematically reducing the ages of the SBs.

Home Locations
As I just mentioned, lots of women listed, but are they really local? For some (a minority) I can recognize local landmarks and landscape, so clearly local. For others, impossible to say – just interior shots. But then there is a significant number with landscape and buildings that do not at all match SoCal – highly suspect.

“Quality” of the SBs
Significantly better set of good looking, slimmer, younger SBs than on SA. But with all the above points, this in itself is suspicious!

SBs Messaging Me
Too many doing so! A typical scam in many such sites – remember the AshleyMadison scandal.

Overall Summary
Everything I can see about the site has issues:
- Poor value
- Very limited number of women that one can message with a paid subscription
- Suspect user base, in terms of numbers, ages and locations
- Many scam-like features, such as many SBs sending initial messages.
Given these points I have not proceeded to actually pay for a subscription.

Thanks for doing the research and reporting it Dick!   I won't be wasting my time with OurSecret anytime soon!

... is not unreasonable if they are in Europe.

But being in Europe and saying they are in Los Angeles is definitely not reasonable.

Thanks for the scouting report.
