Is it me or is it the time of year? This past few months has been a horrendous slog through the detritus of SA. Winter and going into Spring seemed like there were more authentic profiles that resulted in successful M&G's and some quality BCD's, but this past few months has produced nothing but sh*t from the lowest common denominator of life. Rinsers, scammers, liars and all manner of flakers and fakers have filled my days with endless runarounds. For some of the veterans on here, is this a summertime thing? Do things generally improve in the Fall? I'm trying to be a gentleman with some of these ladies and be a stoic warrior but I'm getting jaded and bitter and my patience is wearing thin. Thinking of taking a break for awhile and recalibrating as I have nice stable of fillies now, but it's hard to stay out of candy store. One never knows when an current SB will bail from an arrangement so I feel it's always best to keep a line in the water. Plus, that perfect 10 may bite on my line and create a [temporary] heaven on earth. Of course, I'm likely delusional, lol. Is anyone else here experiencing a higher number of flakes than usual on SA these days?

Haven't been on SA much in the last 8 months or so.  Had a good thing going.  Now that I'm only with 1 SB I've been thinking about dipping back in.  Took a good look about a month or so ago.  That's when I saw my ex who was a thief and scammer (posted about that one already).

I'm not sure I want to put that kind of effort in.  It feels like when I put in a good 3-4 months I get a few good BCDs and then 1-2 short term SBs.  Maybe something longer term.

No one here has ever figured out what those cycles are.  

 
Lots of hypothesis:  
1. Aligned with college semester or quarter starts or ending?
2. Holidays?
3. Springtime/summer/autumn, or winter move-ins from her old city to yours?  
4. Shorter view: last 10 days of the month and rent will be due soon?
5. After or before Valentines Day when chicks are likely to get dumped by their a-hole BF?  
6. Higher or lower unemployment trends?  
7. Post-summer or post-Spring Break vacation times when she needs to pay off all those travel bills?  
8. Right after the corporate end-of-year bonus season, they can smell the cash in our wallets like a shark smells blood in the water?  
9. Flood of new, viral favorable or unfavorable social media blogs about sugaring?  
10. Maybe it's just sunspots?  

 
Pick one, or make up your own, you might be right... but I doubt it.  :p

The beginning of the school year (starting NOW) seems to produce more authentic new chicks online, particularly young ones. But I really can't say that translates to more pussy. (Although years ago it definitely translated to more pussy.)

Me and the guys that I act as a guru to would have reported a huge up swell in available girls.  Most seem legit altho no pussy action to report yet.  Could just be regional ebb and flow, but it seems much more than that.  Otherwise, other than the coeds returning to school, we have no explanation.

In my area it peaks in Aug/sept as semesters start and then seems to again between thanksgiving and Christmas when, I guess, ppl need mo ey for gifts

My post was asking are you experiencing a higher number of flakes than usual, not an upswing in available POTS. I seem to be seeing a higher number of flakes, scammers, fakers and cheats. But it is also good to hear what others are experiencing in terms of availability of POTS as well and how those cycles tend to run at different times of year. From what I am gathering from the comments, it's all pretty much the same most of the time and just as hard as ever to find decent looking, reliable and consistent POTS who turn into steady LTR's. I appreciate all the responses and feedback.    

I think your point is quite pertinent: of the 8-10 girls I was referencing a few posts ago, only one agreed to a M & G (altho several are on Summer vacations).  Three of the group made a request for money prior to meeting.

So at this stage is seems at least half are scammers or fakes.
