Thinking about getting back on Seeking. With strict rules regarding what can and cannot be communicated, I was wondering what you guys used as a communication tool once you decide you want to speak more openly?

Texting via Google Voice is my preferred method. I also have used Signal, Telegram and WhatsApp if POTS request it, but many SDS seem to think is sketchy. However, I have never had an issue using them to communicate with POTS.

Your optimal off-site tool depends on your perceived level of security needs, balanced by how likely she is to have the preferred app.  

 
Most "secure" are apps like Signal, WhatsApp, and Snapchat. They may have P2P encryption, and some have disappearing messages. These should always be used on a burner phone and/or a disposable phone number.  But these may not be used by your POT and she may balk at getting them.  

 
On the less secure side, SMS Text, voice and video calls are all pretty straightforward now, and virtually all POTs will be able to use those seamlessly.  

 
Just keep in mind that even the most secure app can be foiled when one party takes a screen shot.  

 
Finally, not sure if this is still policy at Seeking, but in the past, screen shots of off-site messages were not used to "punish" users for discussing P4P, as they cannot be verified by Seeking Staff.  But that doesn't mean they don't care if a user claims fraud, P4P, or some other bad behavior.  For me, I like to chat a bit (maybe 15 mins or a dozen messages) before going into any P4P details. Ideally, she will mention something first.
