I got banned on SA. My real account has been deactivated for a couple of months as I’ve been taking a break from the hunt. Plus, a woman I met earlier this year but didn’t pursue reached out recently and I’ve been getting my needs met. Funny part is, she reached out after I had already been off the site for a few weeks. Lol

Anyhow, I’ve always maintained a second account (no Picts), different email address, basic non-premium account and minimal info. I’ve been recently checking out the pot SBs as I’m trying to decide whether to jump back in. There have been some really sweet looking pots lately too.  Tonight I went to log in and I got greeted with the notice of account suspension for suspicious activity. As this is my reconnoiter account, I’ve not messaged anyone, so I’m wondering what the violation is. Lol

when it comes to who and why they ban someone.  I know a couple of girls who got banned, one because SA said her pictures were found on an escort website.  But the other one we never did find out.  I think somebody got pissed cus she rejected him so he reported her for unacceptable behavior.  When I got banned it was because I was messaging with a girl who turned out to be 16!  Somebody reported her, they checked everyone who was talking to her and banned us all.  I had to beg to get reinstated, promise to never do it again, etc.  If you want an interesting read sometime, go to SA and read their terms of use.  Quite comprehensive and surprisingly readable. If you believe you did nothing to violate their terms, ask to be reinstated. Good luck!

So I sent in a question asking why. Stated I did not violate any of the listed suspect reasons. The response I got was that I was now permanently banned and that they would not respond to anymore questions. So I’m not sure what got me banned. As I said before, it’s my reconnoiter account so no messaging gets done from it. I use it to keep tabs. The real account has been deactivated for about 2 months, so technically I only had the one active account.🤷🏻‍♂️

I guess they thought I was a degenerate stalker. Wait, aren’t all of degenerate stalkers. Lol.

Most sites log your IP address. If they see the same ip   address on several accounts they can figure it out.

You can also get banned if some chick complains about you.

I’ve heard that. I use a vpn when I log in. Someone complaining would have to get a message from that account, which is easy to prove never happened as I never sent any from that account. Their rules say no multiple ACTIVE accounts, but I only had the one active account.  The other was deactivated.

I tried the apologetic and confused approach but they just said the decision is final. Oh well. I plan on trying the deactivated account from a device I haven’t used before to see if that one gets blocked too. I’ve heard they might also track the MAC address of the device.

Or at least they used to.  

 
Once upon a time I moderated several TER boards and I could see the IP address of everyone posting, if two different posters were posting from the same IP address that member/s would be banned immediately.

 
Yes, there are several workarounds to keep from getting caught at this, but I am talking about the lazy/stupid posters that would do this.

 
One other PSA for everyone else reading this. SA, just like TER is able to read any and all PM's using their messaging system, they usually do NOT do so because of all the resources required to do so, but if they have reason to do so they can see everything you have ever said by PM. My advice is to NEVER say anything via PM, either here or on SA, that you wouldn't want Admin to read and that most definitely includes making offers for PPM on SA, that in itself is enough to get your thrown off the site.
