There's some good recent discussion going on about the the best practices for staying anonymous on the site:  
- No pics
- Blurred face pics
- Paying with a cash-based gift card
- Never giving an SB your real name, address, etc.
- Using cash or quasi-cash to pay allowance
- Reserving/paying for a hotel room with cash or gift cards

 
None of these are necessary for me as I am single, no kids, retired, and my friends are used to seeing me date younger women. So the worst that could happen to me is that my friends will see their suspicions confirmed that I am actually sugaring, and not just good at picking up 20-ish hotties. :p  

 
But I do understand that I am not typical here, though I do stand with a few notable gents like GaGa and Sweetman.  And for those of you who twist your life through all kinds of contortions to keep your sugar life a secret from your SO and friends - and perhaps your "real" life secret from your SB's - two simple questions:  

 
1, Have you ever been outed by SB?  
2. Have you ever been caught by your SO/friends when one of your security measures failed to work?

However, other than getting the usual extortion threats, no one I know ever saw my name, or at least, ever told me they saw my name.

So regardless of your own security measures, you can get outed with a site hack where they steal all your subscription info.

I’ve been living with being married to a well known PS (one word name, hall of famed) for nearly a decade and a half. So I’ve little fear of being outed overall.  

I would like my life not to be the topic of discussion at the water cooler so to speak. So I take small precautions like keeping my real photos in the private section. I don’t talk about my “other life” with civvies. And my spouse retired from porn awhile ago pretty much when we got serious as a couple. I have paid to hide her identity from her porn alter ago and she plays the soccer mom role pretty well at times.  

Once a political enemy tried to spread the rumor that I was a pimp probably based on seeing me with a bevy of PS like girls. But it didnt really spread ... maybe because I don’t acknowledge or flaunt my lifestyle.

I had an Asian American SB who was an actress. We were together for a couple of years but I had to end it when she used my real name to try to get a part. Producer called me to complain and I apologized. Had it out with her and wound up breaking up, which is a shame because she was dynamite BCD.
