Ever hear that "familiarity breeds contempt?" There's nothing wrong with your libido, it's just that this particular version of P4P has become familiar to you and it's just not as exciting anymore.

Men visit with prostitutes for different reasons. Some because they want to interact with a highly sexual woman, others because the entire experience is "naughty and forbidden" in itself. Others do it because they are under the impression that they can't meet civvies, for whatever reason. But all enter and leave the experience with different impressions and varying conclusions. Hence, if yours is that it's not THAT exciting anymore, so what? You don't HAVE to like this way of consorting with women just because you are a man. There are plenty of men who find the entire experience of paying for sex with strange women incredibly distasteful - trust me, I meet with them regularly when I speak to men's groups, or they come to me for therapy or coaching.

Obviously if you feel entirely turned off to sex in general, then go see a physician and get a check up for testosterone levels, thyroid and other potential energy-sapping conditions. But something here tells me that you may have become disenchanted with this type of sexual interaction altogether.

Maybe wait it out a while and return in six months or so, just to check out the old dipstick,

Sounds like your are burned out. Learn something new and stop putting so much energy/time in the hobby.

Go swimming a few times a week and get to the point where you can swim a mile without stopping. Then go back and hobby. Be sure to update us with the results.

I can relate very well to your post.  I have been playing at P4P for 20 years.  I've also had various affairs and a couple of sugarbaby arrangements.  Along the way 1 unsuccessful marriage and 1 successful marriage.  Lots of wonderful women have been part of my life in one way or another and for various amounts of time.

Here's what I learned about myself and maybe it applies to some other men.  I'm a man that loves sex, loves women, loves connection and needs a break from all of it at times.  I need variety but I also need connection.  I need intense sex and I also need sensual, relaxed sex and touching.  I'm complicated or maybe I'm just like most other men.  I really don't know the answer to that question but I do know myself finally after 5 decades of living and pondering these and many other questions.

I listen closely to my body and my emotions.  I tune in to how I am feeling and I try to tune in to what's going on in the background of my consciousness.  It's not always easy but it's always interesting and hopefully enlightening.

The bottom line is that I sometimes just need to take a break from sex and women.   Exercise, reading, films, music, art, and many other things interest me and when I need to take a break from the ladies, I am never bored.

I think it is only natural to get tired of the hobby sometimes.   In fact, I think it is part of a process.  You want to be with everybody at first and then as time goes along, you realize that you just need a small number of providers that you can always count on for fun and excitement.
