Can a woman really feel those things on a condom, or are they just gimmicks?

May I speak for myself, jabr,

I've been around for a loooong time. Those nubby things came out in the '70s, and I can honestly state that throughout the years, I've tried desperately to get off on ribs, studs, nubs and any type of latex protrusions offered as potential additions to the obvious. Sadly, I must admit that there was nothing to add to the already lustful program. Zip, zero, nada.

But let's not give up! Let's hear it from other ladies. Maybe there are some out there who get off on those prickly looking gizmos?

Save your money and go for reg'lar ones, IMHO,

I can say I occasionally like the sensation of the warming lube added to a regular lubed condom. But alas, the ribs and studs do nothing for me either. And I often I find them to chafe and feel somewhat uncomfortable- I like that smooth silky gliding motion, not chunks and ridges of plastic or latex rubbing against me poosy ;)

I have to agree with you... they do nothing for me... I prefer regular smooth condoms.

However I have heard from several clients that 1 or 2 drops of warming liquid inside the condom in the tip enhances pleasure.  Do not add more than 2 drops or you risk the condom slipping off!

Warning:  warming liquid tastes awful!

The only lubes that I find do not have an unpleasant taste are the silicone based ones: they are tasteless!  (and they make good massage oils as they are latex friendly and do not break down like water based lubes)

I find those ripples, twists, studs, etc -- and anything with "warming liquid" to be not only gimmicky and worthless, but sometimes even annoying.

There's nothing like a like firm cock sheathed in a nice, smooth condom. That's truly the best.

I've never noticed a difference either way.  I don't think there's enough texture in most cases to make much difference.  It's mostly marketing.

But what DOES make a difference is a cock ring.  I've had ladies who liked mine and others who've found it uncomfortable and I've removed it for.
