Taken from a POT SB profile I saw today.  She is 22, 5"1', average body, maybe C-cup perkies,  and blonde.   But her ass is big. Or at least bigger than the rest of her body would suggest.  Probably had a procedure, and obviously she is proud of it.  

 
Now I'm a fan of slim and petite woman with butts that look proportionate to the rest of body.  And I'll admit my fandom approaches the level of a fetish.  The "Kim Kardashian" look that seems to be popular now, well frankly, it makes me want to puke.  I find NOTHING attractive about her or her (manufactured) body type.  But that's just me. I know there are others who's tastes skew bigger; bigger boobs, bigger butts, bigger lips, bigger hair, etc. I make no claims that they are "wrong" or that I am "right." It's personal preference, of course.  Judging by the stories told by a personal friend of mine who has her own SB profile on SA, there are a fair number of "chubby chaser" SD's out there as well.  She's pulling in (no pun intended) around $800 a month in allowance.  

 
Perhaps there are the makings of a separate post on how the "Kardashian style" has influenced young women (and men) over the last 15+ years. Looking through the most popular InstaGram  models seems to suggest that influence is alive and well. But that's the stuff of a future post... or not.  

 
My question for discussion is:  

 
What makes a "great ass" great?  And what does it say about a POT SB who proudly calls out her ass in her profile? Does it matter if she actually does not have a great ass? Once you produce a search list using preferred filters, do you prioritize your POT's by great asses 1st, or some other physical attribute (beyond general body type)? Or do you go for the POT's who (given a minimum level of "attractiveness")  look most likely to be DTF? Or something else?

I'm not what you would call an assman; don't like them big. A pair of cheeks that fill my hands and a bit more is perfect, IMHO. ALthough I will admit that sometimes I'll see a woman whose ass may be a bit larger than I prefer but if it's beautifully shaped in near perfect symmetry I may succumb.

The big ass and fat lips phenomenon has cut my pool of choices by about 50%. I just don't get it. I suppose it's generational and my formative years were in the Twiggy days! That must have been post-Marilyn Monroe and pre-Kardashian

I'm not part of that young generation, and I am not attracted to the Kardashian, JLo, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azeala butt. I like women who are slender, slim, svelte, and small, the petite ones you referenced in your post. I'll even go a step further and state that some women with flat butts turn me on too.

If other people are attracted to big butts, fine for them. I see nothing wrong with other people liking things that I do not like. All I know is that I like what I like and I don't apologize for it.

I agree with you that it seems a lot of women are clamoring onto the I-have-to-get--my-ass-enlarged-or-I'm-a-hideous-failure bandwagon. I think they look like horses.

These enormous asses that are in vogue do not attract me. A derriere should be proportional to the body, not too flat (ruling out many pretty Asian girls, sadly), but enough to grab and look good straining through a slinky dress.

I'm reminded of Arnold S. in the movie True Lies. His wife's ass was described as an ass "like a 12-year-old boy." That's not how I think about an ideal ass, but I think the actor was describing a nice, firm ass that fit the body.  

I suppose to each his own. Somewhere out there is probably a long essay on the excellencies of the perfect feminine ass.

When it comes to the nitty gritty of what makes for the perfect ass, I'm most turned on by the ones that fit perfectly in my hands...not too much, just enough.  I'm a huge fan of terrific legs, and when they go on for days and end up at smallish hips and ass, I'm usually pretty enthralled.  But I can be distracted...pornstar Courtney Taylor with her enhanced backside and collagen lips sure punches my buttons.  As to profile claims about "assets", I like to see that and tend to key in on it when I do.  Goes to positive affirmation about her sexuality methinks, and suggests to me that she understands clearly why daddy is fishing.  

Not my preference at all.  Not a look I like. PAWG = too much Micky Ds.
