I posted a while back about an STD issue [link below if you care] wherein I had white, pimple looking things on my privates. As a service to everyone out there show might see something similar, the good news is, it was just molluscum, a benign wart-like thing that disappears in 2-3 months on its own.

I'd never heard of it, but aside from being slightly embarassing, they are not a problem.

One of my room mates got it from a girl he had a one nighter with. Took over a year for all the papules to go away. After 6 months his doctor suggested cyrotherapy(freezing them with liquid nitrogen) and that seemed to help. But he got so frustrated because just when he thought they were gone, more of the little suckers would pop up.

It's a benign viral infection and according to what I've read and experienced with the roomy, 2-3 months is a best case scenario. Wearing a condom won't help as this, like herpes, is a skin on skin kind of problem...so it you have a papule that is exposed you are putting any partner at risk. But the good news is that unlike herpes, molluscum does eventually go away. But while you have papules, you can spread it.

Thanks for the update and the info. Lessons here for all of us.

for now i'm just sticking to Sensual massage with a HJ! i've come too close for comfort on some of this stuff...

Yes, you're right. They can't freeze them all away, though. It can be spread through sharing towels or razor blades or in swimming pools. In the past it was mainly found in children. The doctor told me it used to be found at kids's summer camps.
Each bump can last 2-3 months, but new bumps can pop up, extending the period. Once you build up an immunity to the virus, it is done, and it is harmless. None the less, even those most people wouldn't notice the bumps, nothing but CBJ for me for a while.

i try to do the CBJ, but i just CAN'T do it! it's fucking hard to get covered when a woman--who is inches away from your man-tool--asks you covered or BARE....doh!! that i usually bite the bullet and go for the latter...goes without saying ... i'm such a weak man..hehehe

I agree, but I know how I have something that can be spread- even if it is benign- and I don't have the right to give it to someone else. All the guys who don't catch this can thank me.

I got that years ago from a monogamous (serially)girlfriend. Took about a year before it all tapered away. {Made me stick w/ her longer than I'd have wanted.} MD used a painless utensil (small metal scoop on a stick) to flick them away when they were prevelant. Once they're gone, they are gone forever. Thank the Lord. [A MD told me she got from her kids, but I have to wonder.] I kinda agree w/ the hobbyist above  who wanted to stick w/ HJ & a little more or less.  These providers have been ALL around.  One can still get a good thrill while limiting skin to skin or mucous membrane contact. It's not the real thing anyway, why pretend & unduly expose oneself?
