I feel pretty sure that I am on the lower end of income for those of us being SDs.  Quick backstory, I split with my ex about 4 years ago and she literally bankrupted me and I even lost my house.  While starting over, since I was out from under a lot of payments and such, I found I had a lot of disposable income, and then of course being freshly single, nobody to be accountable to with it, thus my entry into SD was born.  

Some people spend half their fortune on hookers and booze ... and waste the rest.

But I’m also pretty strapped for cash, since the hobby just grows to match whatever I budget. I make a good amount but family and mortgage quickly suck it up.  

Budgets are notoriously flexible little beasts.  I've thrown caution to the wind this year, and with it, my hobbying budget went out the window.  When the dust settles, I will have spent over $20k on pussy this year. It's a lot, for me, and not sustainable over time.  But damn, it's been fun and I've never had so much sweet young prime willing pussy in my entire life.  There are good reasons and bad reasons for going broke.  I think this is a good reason!

I've  had to pull way back. Now I'm pickier, cheaper and see em less often.

As mrfisher wisely recommended, it's prudent to put away $$$ for your "golden years"  but we never know just when the Grim Reaper will come calling for us. At 71 my life expectancy is perhaps another 10-15 yrs and I've got enough $$$ to get me there but if I last much longer than that I'll probably be a ward of the state😋
So I try to keep in mind a couple of my gavorite quotes about life made by famous men....Willy Nelson spoke to a gathering of his friends on his 75th birthday and said " well, at 75 I have somehow managed to outlive my dick "
And Erol Flinn once said " any man who dies with more than $5000 in the bank is a complete fool "  
My grandfather was not famous but also offered another important observation along the same line.. " you only live once and then you're dead for a looooong time " 😋

Erol Flinn died in 1959.  $5k in 1959 is now a little over $42k..

My budget is also very very low....somewhere between $500 to $1000 on average.  I would love to know what you gift your SB for those weekends, excluding expenses.  I'm getting older and like Willie quoted above am getting closer to outliving my dick.  Not a prospect I look forward to.  If I could find that one SB to have a great weekend with even once a month, and then rotate others as my mood and pocket book allows, it would be awesome.

Good to know I'm not alone, lol!  I am with y'all saying why the fuck do I want to die with money?  I'll try to setup my child best I can, but beyond that, fuck it, Imma enjoy myself while I can.   My issue, I suppose, is I'm "only" 45, so I feel like I really should be putting more away.  

WOW!  $250 for a weekend?  I was thinking close to my whole budget, not including expenses. But then you are only 45.  How did you approach the weekend thing?  I have that option in my profile, but most of the girls I see aren't looking for that.  They have almost all been hit and go.  I applaud you for such a great arrangement!  Any tips on getting that arrangement (not the price, just the arrangement).  

The more I talk about it, more I realize how lucky I really am.  That's just it, I DIDN'T approach it.   I was just very attentive (the girl loves a good long scalp massage, lol), we got along great, and it just happened.  Second meetup it was getting late, she stayed the night, then stayed most of Saturday.  The following meetup, she stayed Saturday night too, without me suggesting it or anything.  And just like that, it became our norm.  We just fit well together I guess, she is kinda nerdy too, so we will literally sit on the couch all day and play video games or something.  I mean, I don't feel like it's news to you or anyone, but only tips might be obviously treat her like a real person/girlfriend, take care of her, cook meals, and relate on shit outside of just the sex (we will lay in bed in the mornings and laugh at memes and shit, then I go cook us breakfast), and I don't push the sex (there have been weekends we only did it once or twice).  She is damaged goods, per say, abused a lot of her childhood by her granddad, split family, yada yada, so maybe that helps, idk!   And she knows it's more than arrangement to me because I do get her gifts for her birthday, Christmas, etc, and I've given her extra for stuff when she needed it.

I have apparently angered the SD gods.... Go figure, same day I post how great my arrangement is, she tells me we may have to stop soon because she is potentially going to start dating someone and doesn't want to cheat on him (plus we don't use protection, so wouldn't even want to suggest otherwise..).  Dammit!

Lol. Such is life in the bowl. It's not natural for these things to last.
