At 60 (and of course I look decades younger!) I feel awkward going to providers much younger than 40.  I look at pictures of the 25 year olds and I think HOT!  Then I think TOO YOUNG!    So LG am I unusual in this - and what do the providers think?

If you really are lusting for the 25-year-olds, please get over your qualms and GO FOR IT. We've had this topic come up perennially. Turns out providers of all ages LOVE more "mature" hobbyists. Just take a look at the thread below. There are more of the same on The Erotic Highway. Do a search and type in key words like "age," "hobbyist," "younger," etc.

Now are you unusual in this regard? I don't believe so, although I also have a hunch there is a pretty even distribution of older hobbyists who see older gals, younger gals, gals in between, etc., with some Bell curvish outliers as predicted.

But I also feel that there is rampant age discrimination in our appearance-obsessed society, and that hobbyists are no exception to the not-so-subtle influences of media, etc. Despite being clean-cut, attractive, charming, etc.,some older hobbyists can become intimidated by their own ages when selecting younger providers. I wish they would stop and just go out there and have fun!

Providers are supposed to be PROFESSIONALS, no matter what age, and unless they are extreme enough to specify age categories for their clients, they will treat you with the same deference and sexual ardor as they would a younger client. In fact, many providers repeatedly state that they PREFER older men. "Less work," more "sensuality" and above all, more "finesse and gentlemanly behavior" are phrases often tossed around among providers when describing a more "mature" clientele. I have yet to hear that a provider complained about ill treatment from an older gentleman. In fact, even men in their 70s and 80s are considered "plum clients." Oftentimes, men who have had prostatectomies are regarded as "good ones," partially because there often is no ejaculate, thereby providing a nice, unsticky orgasm. In addition, there is no chance of an older hobbyist pounding away for hours just to make a point, which often happens among the "junior" set.

So go out there and be a proud, gray panther! Believe me, 25, 35 and providers beyond will cherish your sexiness and your refined, gentlemanly ways. Not to mention all the experience years of boinking will have accumulated in your storehouse of sensual and sexual knowledge. Let's hear it for OLDER MEN and their sexuality!

If I may add my 2cents in...I totally agree with LG. I've found that older clients are more respectful, and less rushed. More sensual, and enjoyable. I feel like a delectable piece of French Silk Pie being sampled and enjoyed for it's richness, texture, and taste. Kinda feel a little worshipped, but that makes me feel so appreciated. I tend to prefer the older men as well, sexually and personally. My experiences in both sex and dating with men my own age (college guys) has been less than satisfying. Since women tend to mature ahead of young guys, I find that I connect better with middle aged to older men. Plus, I agree with Diana, that older gents usually show a true appreciation for the the female body, and treat me with the utmost respect and sensuality, while younger gents can be rough or act as though they are entitled to whatever they want, when they want it, without the skills of a more experienced gent. Don't ever feel bad about writing to the younger ladies- we love guys like you!!

I tend to like younger providers. I'm 42, and I've felt very comfortable with younger providers. I'm relatively new to the hobby, but I've found that if you are polite, respectful,  and clean, the ladies seem to enjoy us middle-aged and older guys.

I really appreciate this information.  I just turned 58, so I had some concerns on this topic.

I'm in kind of a unique sitution for this discussion.

My partner is 23, and I'm well... I lie about my age... but we both prefer older gentlemen.  They are more laid back, usually have more discretionary income so expense isn't such an issue and they know how to treat other people.

My partner Jessica is super cute, but on a number of occasions I've had gentlemen say they would rather just date me alone because she is just too young.

In some cases they have kids older that she is, so I can understand their feelings.  And just last week we had a guy not date her because he was certain she was underage even though she's a senior in college.

I am more than 58,and have found several providers who seem to like me for what I am (TMMV - Their Mileage May Vary)and show more than acceptance but appreciation in various ways.  Forget age hangups!  You're not Adonis and maybe never were.  Look for women who appreciate you for however they perceive you.  If you're a decent guy and not ego-driven, you will find many more super 60-minute companions (and maybe more than companions) than you can accommodate even if you live to be 120. I am 54. It's true that older men appreciate the delights of a younger woman more than their own age group. I can get lost simply in the luscious, beautiful, firm skin of a twenty something, whereas when I was that age, myself, I took it for granted. Since we often worship their beauty, it's no wonder that young women prefer us.

As to age, when I was in my 20's I was dating men in their 40's and up. I've always had a preference for the maturity of older gentlemen. Channelguy you got it going on! With an attitude like that you will go far in this profession. You just go with on what you feel. I myself prefer middle aged men but then I wont deny young men either. (as long as they are of legal age) Everyone has there preferences channelguy so go out there and have some erotic adventures.
