I think we all agree it's a good thing when a SB knows what she wants and is upfront about it. Saves a lot of time and energy. Some are very reasonable requests, some are GPS and you give them a pass. But this one that popped up in my area simply left me speechless:

I just got asked $300 for a meet and greet. Everything was going great till then -- the POT had great photos, really nice on the phone, could host, etc. Then boom! I just can't get myself to pay that, not because in the grand scheme of things it is that much money, just because it bodes poorly for what future interactions (if there would be any) would be like and how expensive they would be.
I do not understand where these women get the idea that someone is going to pay them to meet for lunch. OK maybe I do, maybe TikTok is the current culprit for spreading that sort of misinformation these days. Whatever. When I'm asked for $$ for a M&G I patiently explain that I'm truly glad to provide my SB with $ome $ugar once we create an actual arrangement and get it started. But we're not there yet, we're both still checking each other out and working up to a decision. You don't expect to get a paycheck when you apply for a job, right? I might as well save my breath, it never works out!

Let's face it, however. Everything a SD does not like about what we consider to be out-of-market economics is really nothing but some woman who either knows what the market will bear or who has the balls to go for it. It's a huge market, and if the woman has the right bundle of goods to offer (and many do), someone will step up and pay the price. No judgment on them, it's all relative. Only one solution - move on.
I have noticed SB in their mid to late 20's had an experience with a whale once and are holding out for Moby Dick 2.0.
