This has been discussed in the past.  

 
The SB search result page makes it easy for the user to see a POT SD's income and net worth as well as the main profile pic, and other info.  It is fairly common to see an SB just scroll down the list and check Favorite for any hits that meet their criteria in the hopes that the POT SD will "notice" her interest and message her.    

 
This is not necessarily a scam tactic - unless you add in other factors like SB's outside your country or state.  

 
In a few cases where I did message the SB, I would comment that I see her favorite, but do not see that she viewed my profile. Then I've asked her to look at my profile and let me know if she is interested. That often gets her to view me and we go down the message path.  A few times, I did this with local SB's who replied that they did view my profile and even mentioned some profile-specific info - and yet I still did not see an update that they had viewed me. SA bug? Maybe.  

 
So take it at face value - there is something about your info listed in search that got her interest.  Whether that interest is "legit" or just (literally) making you a mark for a scam will require you to do your typical vetting and find out. I can add that some, usually younger and newer, SB's are shy and/or may be unsure how to message a POT SD. This can be a VERY good trait if you prefer very submissive, and low self-esteem types.

But I can't say I ever converted one. I suspect the ones you are likely to reply to are attractive enough that their broadcast got them a zillion results, so you are buried in the responses.
