As a relative newbie I'm still figuring out the Bowl and SA. Obviously get only a small percentage of responses and a lot of those fizzle. But in the past few days I have gotten replies from a few ladies I liked and messaged a month ago! A strange coincidence, and I had almost forgotten about them as my interests turned elsewhere.

I don't usually message women who have been inactive a while and found this a bit odd. Of course I can see a number of reasons .. they had other gigs going, were on vacation, etc.  And I would suspect for some girls it's not so much a personal thing but business, and they are hitting me up with the well going dry.

I'm always open to good quality sugar when it presents itself, but wondering if this happens much to you guys and if you've had good outcomes in these cases.

Chicks who respond late have a tendency to be picky.  They were unsatisfied with the earlier candidates and have moved on.  My best luck was with chicks who respond quickly.

So it's not surprising if they need time to go through them, especially if they are new to the site.  As suggested, there are many reasons why this could happen to you.  
- They found a good POT SD 10 minutes before your message arrived, and then it didn't work out
- They were just "testing the water" 1st before deciding to dive in  
- They tagged your message as one of several dozen and just got around to yours.  
- They took a break for family/work/school/real life BF, etc.  

 
It is interesting to me that flip side of this, SB messages to me that I don't immediately answer, is much more frenetic. several time I've been messaged by  POT right after I locked in a 4th or 5th SB in my rotation. Three days later, I check my messages again and about half of those who did not get a reply have either blocked me or their profile is gone. Read into that what you will. But the lesson is for us, replying quickly to her may be more important than her replying quickly to us.

I've received responses that were delayed by a year or more, which have turned in to extraordinarily excellent arrangements.  So don't read too much into it.  As Herb said, there's lots of reasons a SB might not reply promptly.  One more thing is that the new Fall semester is starting soon at most colleges and the girls need $$ for all sorts of expenses.  Many will return to SA in the next month seeking a fresh source of a$$istance.
