Are SB's always late?  Is it a generational thing, a SB thing or perhaps both.  I tend to go for the younger SB's (21-28), and more than 50% of the ladies have been late to our meet-and-greet.  Some will text and state that they are running late. Typically, I will wait about 20 to 25 minutes while having a drink and reading the paper.  Live in the DC area and traffic is always awful, but my time is valuable and my "play" windows have to be precise.  Curious as to others experiences.

Late is the norm. Its like the meet time is just a suggestion.

What drives me nuts is their horrible communucation skills. Which is ironic because yhey are attached to their smart phones.

1) in a busy metro area I'd give them a 30 min grace period.  If I'm traveling abroad, I tell the SB's that American culture is different and that we Americans leave after 30 mins upon the agreed upon time if no show. I do this so they know clearly the cultural expectation of timeliness

2) I give them a 30 min grace period! The only way I'd give them more is if they are constantly following up with me and telling me their reasons. The ones that constantly follow up and are responsive I give them longer. But they are usually no longer than 30mins to hour late. when I arrive at the agreed upon time. I text saying "hey I'm here". After 20 mins I'll ask for a status. If they are non-responsive after 30 mins then I roll out.

3)I text them the morning of to see if we're still on. If they don't respond within an hour then I move onto other things. I also follow up a second time if I get a confirmation from the first time and text them 2 hours before our agreed upon time and say "hey I'll be heading out at X time, is that good for you" . If they respond within 30 mins then I'll go. If they don't respond within 30 mins then I move onto other things.

4)I would never drive more than 20-30 mins out of my way to meet someone unless rapport is established.

It's very systematic my approach but it has saved me from a lot of no-show disappointments and I usually am able to recover the time to do other fun things.

As stated elsewhere, if these young ladies had their time management skills in good order, the rest  of their lives would be more stable, profitable, and structured along mainstream lines.

One of the ironies of the Sugar Bowl is the way these two worlds collide: SDs have the money to play, precisely because they have cultivated responsible behaviours; SBs get up late, diddle around, and when they *do* keep a BCD appointment they go home that day with more $$ than their workaday besties take home in a week....

Having spent time and energy cultivating a meet-and-greet, I will allow a no-show or two, and "running late" excuses about half the time, because when it clicks I feel very well rewarded....Tonight's soft and lithe 22 y.o. hottie was a half hour late, but when she got into the back seat for a cuddle, long, freshly washed hair gliding over her perked-up nipples covered only by a sheer, raw silk top;  long, tanned legs ending in the shortest of cutoffs, knees akimbo for my ease of access....I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

Sometimes I bribe them with something from Starbuck's, that either melts or becomes lukewarm if they don't hurry on over....
I find that threatening to leave sets the wrong tone and has no impact, because they will blissfully carry on doing whatever was delaying them in the first place.

I have learned the need to be flexible with play-windows, and not project adult social conventions on these undisciplined youngsters....I threatened tonight's SB with a spanking, and got a big grin in return, clearly that's not the right motivating tool; As others have said, if you have to navigate tight scheduling windows the professionals are a better option (usually)
