(i'm sure the mods would block the link so just put the words together- no apostrophe)

SA emailed me the ad and i presume they're getting a commission or it has the same owner.

Looks like a pro-SB/hooker biz model where you have to offer something for the first date. And based on how cheap you are, they get to decide if it's worth talking. Like the Bumble for the SA world lol.

I only made a profile to search. a lot of the girls overlap with SA but from what i could see for my area the girls aren't any better than SA.

I doubt it'll entice many folks. BUt maybe if you're detailed like HC and SM you'll crossreference and see which girls would demand a M&G fee and avoid those.

WYP actually started before Seeking.  And I was a WYP user during that time.

The premise is offer an incentive to the "attractive" member to meet, and then see where it goes.  Women could check boxes in their profiles on dating objectives like "romance" "casual" or (at the time) "sugaring."   The guy would make an offer, say $100 to meet for lunch, dinner or drinks. The woman could accept or counter. And later the woman could start the process by asking for an amount and the guy could counter.  The guy had to buy "credits" to make the offer. When a deal was made, the credits got spent and two-way messaging was enabled.

I had many dates for between $75-$150. I'd never agree to pay more, no matter how good she looked.   The deal entitled you to one date - and WYP explicitly stated that the offer not be for sex.  After the date, you could then agree to meet again, or not.  The terms of any 2nd or subsequent date were outside of WYP.   The women I met on WYP could be sorted into 3 categories:

1. Possible SB's (also includes pro's on the DL): These were generally looking for an ongoing arrangement - just like what SA offers today.  Over 2-3 years I probably entered into 4 arrangements. Note that these were my 1st experiences sugaring and I made many mistakes. But overall. I got laid by hot women. Good times.
2. "Professional Daters":  These are women, generally GND hot/not slutty, in college or with a decent job, but not looking for P4P time.  Instead, they found that if they could line up 3-5 dates a week at around $100 per date, they could generate $1,200-$2,000 in additional tax-free income without getting naked. Not bad.  If the guy wanted more (non-sex) dates, she would ask for cash for each one. I always declined, of course.
3. Scammers and rinsers (because, of course!): These women were just looking to squeeze as much cash as possible from each guy for the least amount of effort, preferably zero effort.  These included women who would agree to a certain offer on the site, then ask for more offline, as well as asking for cash in advance, and the rest of the usual BS.

My overall results were pretty good. I'd say I had about 4 SB arrangements over a 2-3 year period, before I found SA.  Allowances ranged from $100-$250 ppm, but this was in the 2008-2011 time frame.  When you consider the total costs of paying for the 1st date, dinner bill, subsequent allowance, and member fees to WYP, I was not sending much more than I do on SA.

Eventually. WYP removed the "sugar daddy" option and text from female profiles and marketing materials.  In my local area over the last 7 years, the population on WYP is dismal.  I check it every 2 or 3 months, but I consider it useless now.

I agree with HC that there are a lot of professional daters who just want to be wined and dined. They have no interest in going BCD with you. Maybe they will after several paid dates but I never bother to find out. I did go BCD with about 10 of them. A couple of them did turn into arrangements and they are still in my rotation. I think the girls on SA are definitely better looking and more educated. A lot of the girls on WYP look like skanks.

Another thing I don’t like about WYP is you can’t filter by race. I don’t know if they are trying to be politically correct, but I am only physically attracted to a few races so I would like to filter by race like on SA. If you find the same profile on SA and WYP, chances are she will ask for $ just for M&G on SA.

That’s my point. The “Number twos” u take (pun intended” are already there on SA so I don’t see the point. 3-4 SB over two years seems low yield for HC, although he did say he made mistakes starting out.

I haven’t been trying to add lately and staying steady at two rotation plus pros (plus wife lol) … but I presume pulling 2-3 real SB a quarter from SA if actively looking is more appropriate…

In Houston otherwise you are flooded by ebony candidates.

That def makes it inferior. Prob the SA prototype that didn’t make it.
