The Erotic Highway

Relatively high yield

I've had pretty good luck on r/sugarlifestyleforum. Although the number of potential partners available in the forum is less, the contact-to-arrangement rate seems higher to me. Looking back over my chat logs there, I've had four successful arrangements, two meet-and-greets, and two non-responses, so I'm not unhappy with those numbers.

Good hunting!

We've discussed Reddit groups a bit before, and I've found it useful to hear the experiences of a range of SDs and SBs (and wannabees) but I wanted to offer some guidance on the multiple forums devoted to this subject.
The largest by far (and most useful) is the 'sugar lifestyle forum' with some 250k members, which is astonishing even if three-fourths are inactive or duplicates. It has a pretty wide range of views with often heated debates about allowances, exclusivity and more. And of course the frustrations and scams affecting all sides.
On the surface the 'sugar dating forum' looks similar and has 85k members. But caution here -- I got banned for making a comment about exclusivity, with the moderator publicly calling me a 'propagandist' for the 'other' forum which he claims is rife with 'prostitutes and johns.'  So for this one you have to subscribe to the idea that sugar is a monogamous, allowance-based thing (at least for the SB, there must be some room for married SDs) and PPMs are anathema.
Even worse is the "sugar baby only' forum which is packed with entitled man-haters with no qualms about squeezing everything they can from SDs ('they deserve it') while maintaining their own empowerment.
There are a few other subreddits that crop up that probably aren't worth much, including some with scammy ads for likely 'online' arrangements.
Overall though you can get a good picture of what's out there, the good, bad and ugly sides of sugaring so IMHO it's worth a look from time to time.

Thanks for posting this Mouche.  I've been thinking about investigating Reddit, but was afraid I'd be overwhelmed.  Glad to know which forum is the best one.

r/sugarlifestyleforum has been hijacked by providers who are upset about sugar dating cutting into their market.  Just look at how often there is a thread about the one most tangible and physical difference between hobbying and the bowl: *condoms*.  There is a condom thread almost every other day.

r/sugardaddyhangout is pretty decent.  It's sad that the only way to keep out the salty escorts is to exclude women entirely, but nothing else seems to work.

Honestly I've come to prefer this Erotic Highway forum because it doesn't attract people who are trying to influence public opinion.  Everything on reddit seems to have that problem.  Nobody really cares what TER board users think, so we don't attract the brigades and cancelmobs.  I like that.

For me the point is to gain insight into the mindset of people in the sugar world, on both sides. So yes, there are a lot of crazy and unrealistic posts. But that prepares you for what you will encounter when you're out there hunting.

If you're looking for ADVICE.. it's obviously going to be hit or miss. You will get pretty much every perspective on SLF. Our guys here are great but the depth of experience may be greater on reddit forums.

In terms of connecting, most of the forums are not designed for advertising on either side. You can send DMs but most of the time it's not clear where they are located. There is one smaller forum for meetups but it's a lot smaller than the others.

We started a chat group on Telegram thats a spinoff from a local chat board regarding AMPs. It's been very helpful having info on ladies that other guys have had contact with. We also use it to drive down PPPM rates.

I wouldn't mind an invite to that.

There are many r/sugar groups.  As mentioned, the but the r/SugarDatingForum permanently banned me for a single post, my first made, because I was "disparaging commitment" because I said something about  sugaring is a great way to meet different people that you would not normally be able to date.  When I inquired what was wrong the mod said I should be looking for commitment. WTF?  sugaring is not Bumble or a dating site. Sheesh.

They [r/SugarDatingForum] banning you permanently for the post description you gave seems oddly overkill on their part. One would think they would welcome your point of view. What you've described seems a perfectly legit observation in praise of sugar dating. Even if a post goes against a particular sub-reddit's or moderator's point of view it would seem they'd at least be open to differing opinions. Nothing in your post seems out of place or incongruous about sugar dating. Reddit can be a pretty toxic place.

You cannot appeal the bans, they say you can but nothing happens.
I found you can still have multiple accounts and while they threaten they can see your other account, I don't think they can because I can still post.
Also, the Reddit forums try to promote "allowances" and treat encourage a "sugar relationship".  While there are lots of SDS that post that ppm is the normal 'transaction" and the bottom line is sugaring is a less expensive way to have a longer date than with an escort, there is a lot of crap on it.  BTW, the main point of sugaring is to get real pics of the SB and to have a non-rushed intimate experience.  The sb's know its still sex work. And yes, I've had some great long term sb's, but its still all ppm/sw.  It's like calling a Toyota a Lexus.  It's still a Toyota!
