I recently unhid my profile again as I am replacing my #1 A-list SB (it was time...).  

 
When I revised my settings, I also made two changes to my profile. First, I added more recent pics as I lost a significant amount of weight in 2021 and the new pics really shows the difference well in my face.  Now I'm still an old, fat fucker, but not as fat as before. LOL  I don't think this by itself will attract more POT's to me. But the new pics are a better representation of my current appearance.  

 
I also decided to reduce my net worth and annual income significantly, after I had 2 POT's suggest PPM's that are just way to high; one told me her last SD was giving her $1,500 ppm. Another told me she was getting $2,500 monthly for 2 meets a month.  Both politely passed when I told them I'd be offering $300-400 and no more.  

 
This all got me wondering if my higher monetary data was actually working against me.  My settings were NW $5m and Inc $400k.  Why these values? I did a detailed allowance model several year ago that looked at likely available "sugar budget" (free cash after expenses & savings or investments) per month/year based on annual income at various levels from $50k to $2m a year.  My model showed that an SD would generally need to be making at least $100k per year to play in the sugar bowl. And an SD would need at least $150k to $200k to be able to afford 2+ SB's. These are just models based on my experience in Los Angeles as a single guy with no kids. I make no adjustments for other statuses or locations - so take these as a ROUGH guideline, please.  

 
Anyway, I figured the two POTs, who were both experienced enough to understand budgeting, gross vs net pay, etc. might have reverse-engineered their ask based on my financial data. So I set new vales:  $1m net worth and $150k per year. Then I unhid my profile and watched the results.  

 
I expected my contact rate to drop, as I may have placed myself in the minimum "play" zone for an SD in Los Angeles. But surprisingly, my contact rate increased, even after removing the bullshit contacts from out of town or country profiles and obvious scammers.   I even got a message from an Asian spinner with her number and an offer to meet next week.  We connected by text and after 25 minutes of discussion and vetting we have a M&G/BCD date set for next week at a reasonable $350.  Yet to be seen if I will actually convert this to BCD. But for now, it all looks good.  

 
So have any of you tried adjusting your data like this?  What happened?

We often see hot chicks who probably can command much more than we are willing to pay, so we don't even bother to contact them.   It's probably similar to many chicks when they see high wealth guys who can also afford the hottest chicks, why even bother.  

Good point.  We spend a lot of time trying to get perfect clarity on what POT SB's are thinking... and it's mostly a futile exercise.  LOL  (Insert various blond jokes here...)

I had a true reflection of my nw and and income and I was getting a lot of unrealistic demands.  I lowered it a notch and I began getting demands more within my budget.

I was getting some strange replies to my offers. I haven’t had that problem since.

Just lowered from actual to modest numbers.  Looking forward to seeing how it goes…

I rejoined SA a few months ago after a gap of some years. It has been a different experience this time around, and not in a good way.

Before , I would almost always get an answer to messages, and meeting set ups were almost always successful at least through a first public meeting and usually resulted in going BCD.

Now, I frequently send messages and favoriting women in my area that get no response and receiving favorites from women hundreds if not thousands of miles away. The one exchange of messages turned out to be from a pure escort who favorited  me (and who was at least in my metro area) made it clears that she expected to be on the clock from the first minute of the first public meeting, including her drive time if we even had a public meeting.  

If I want to see escorts again, I will go through TER, or some similar site.  The women are at least as pretty, more straightforward, and generally respond to messages. It isn't clear to me why things have changed. Maybe fewer visiting college and graduate students, COVID fears on the part of from genuine SBs, or something else.

...after two of my current group related to me they zeroed in to the financial aspects within seconds of reading the profile.  Somehow they seem to relate potential dick size to wallet size  lol.  Yeah, I mentioned, of course,  that a guy could completely fabricate his NW/income but it didn't seem to detract them in the slightest.

I would say that within a month or so of doing such, I met up with a really cute, sophisticated girl (altho more of a 8 with respect to body/looks) who unabashedly  blurted out her past two SB were good for 8/7K per month.  She was an easy 'pass.'  

So I guess ymmv...

...why SA has become less useful, the ones you mention are certainly there.  But a big, big reason is the misinformation being circulated on social media.  Tik Tok seems to be the biggest current offender. Plus the fact that SA had to change their policy banning "online arrangements" when the pandemic hit.  So now there's many SB wanabes on the site who actually believe we are going to give them large sums of money just for taking them out to dinner.

It's all about 'ebb and flow.'  There was a time...several months ago I was convinced SA was totally worthless, reflecting on an experience similar to yours.
Today, I have a solid 5 girls in my rotation.  They all 'appeared' with a one month window, and prior to that my experience was poor.
Funny thing, I'm getting bored and always looking for new talent, which I'm reasonably sure I've bagged: a near 10, super-sexy girl who claims her marriage is sex free. Well, we will make up lost ground with her...as she sends me explicit videos each day.
I'll just offer this: hang in there for a few more weeks (especially near 'rent time' towards month end) and see what pops up.

Honestly, I believe she was telling the truth - it was over several glasses of wine at my place and we getting a bit 'friendly' with each other.
I mean we all know about 'whales' and it seems she was just fortunate to have met a couple.
But you know, I was thinking the other day, if I had an income 3X what I make now, putting out 5-10K on a super charming lady wouldn't cause me much grief.  I know many here have speculated that guys making north of 1M would have assistants finding them girls, but I really don't believe that's true.
