I am a former member of the sugar bowl and am thinking of getting back into it. Can anyone who knows what a standard ppm is in LA these days? 3 years ago it was 500 ppm.  
And is the game any better than it was three years ago. I had several m & g and only a few panned out. That said, I had one awesome one. And that’s probably why I’m back considering it.

The Cat reported on LA a few weeks ago.  Check out his posts.  He is the master of LA. lol.  It is different.  Still takes some work and you still have to filter out the scams, but its that golden nugget or two that makes it worthwhile.

LA is a big place.  It's generally a good idea think of which part of LA you are exploring:  

DTLA
West LA
East/Central LA
Pasadena/Glendale
The San Fernando Valley

 
It's really impossible to be specific across all of these diverse areas.  

 
My deep experience is in the Valley. And even here PPM's I pay can vary from 250-500. My average, excluding Porn Star SB's (yes they are around) is 300-400.   To be sure there are plenty of viable SB's asking for 500-1000+ in the same area, and there some SD's who are too lazy (or too rich) to bother looking for other opportunities. But after you get past the 35%-ish percent who are scammers or selling online, the remaining 65%-ish are open to negotiation.  You do not have to accept her demand.  You must negotiate based on your value and not her price.  There are lots of posts here about that. Spend several hours (yes hours) reading and come back with questions.  This group will be happy to help, because...
