Yeah, I think I got that one Wormy. That's the only "facial" I would sign up for...a faux facial
This has begun happening over the last week or so... Yes, I've confirmed it a few times. I Googled it & found it can be caused by Multiple Sclerosis which I have (since ~1990). The MS caused sex to feel different (different but good) but otherwise it had always been stabile... until now. I'm not intending to produce any offspring so why am I having a hard time wrapping my mind around this? I have an appointment with my specialist but I know there is no cure for MS... he does not know about my little hobby.
I began the hobby to complete some unfulfilled fantasies... I figured to continue as long as I was able. I thought the end would be loss of mobility. I am not prepared for this.
ear akissisjustakiss,
It's very difficult, at least initially, to wrap your brain around having an "acquired illness" versus a "developmental" or "congenital illness." MS is a debilitating disorder, but as you pointed out, you have been stable, at least until now. And it is at least a field where there are plenty of research dollars, so there is always some progress in terms of cure and management. Three cheers for that, plus having access to good medical care (which I assume you do.)
As to to "dry orgasms," many healthy men enjoy them and welcome them with open hearts (and flys, I should say). Men who have had vasectomies due to prostate issues often have no outflow whatsoever, but they still orgasm "in their heads." And that really IS our largest sex organ.
Rather than paint a picture of doom and gloom when it comes to dry orgasms, I would see the sunny side of it, and that is that your penis still gets erect, you are enjoying yourself to your best ability and yes, you are having orgasms, even if "dry."
So unless I'm misunderstanding your question - you will get used to it, and hopefully having no ejaculate will cause you no lesser sexual experience.
Enjoy the hobby as long as you can,

Wow I had no idea that ejaculate was so important to men..I mean if they are experiencing an orgasm, why worry that nothing comes out..less mess but all the fun...not a dude and do not mean to be glib...it's an honest "wow".
Yes literbike,
but only to SOME men. Not all men place great importance on ejaculate. After all, it is possible to have an orgasm without any ejaculate whatsoever.
TURP - frequently nothing comes out but the enjoyment is still there,

produce some the the sensation that we call orgasm?
I've always thought it did, but was never sure.
The sensation of semen through the urethra is one of the sensations that men associate with orgasm and it certainly is pleasurable but if you have ever had an orgasm without ejaculating you know that the sensation is incredible but different.
The sensation that you don't have is more than made up for the incredible sensation that you do have with a non-ejaculatory orgasm.
Both incredible but different.
A facial with a dry orgasm isn't nearly the same!

Through practice, a man can achieve an orgasm without ejaculation. Orgasm and ejaculation are two separate physiological events. For practitioners of tantra it is actually a desired outcome and is something held in high regard.
My advice, for what it's worth, is to enjoy the orgasm and not worry about the lack of ejaculate. It will feel different than a full ejaculate but it's certainly pleasurable especially if you can achieve orgasms in sequence without a period of rest between. The loss of erection usually occurs when there is first an ejaculation. Without the ejaculate you may be multi-orgasmic with losing your erection! Now that's something to be very happy about.
I hope this helps you put the issue in a better perspective.
Sorry, if I was not clear. Multiple Sclerosis is a progressive disease & I certainly have progressed over this time span.
My sexual function had been stabile after some initial damage... until now. I think I reconciled myself about losses in my mobility by thinking at least I functioned sexually. This is the kicker to a progressive disease... about the time one gets acclimated to the new reality, makes necessary adjustments... it goes & changes again.
The MS medications can slow down but not stop the early MS stages. There is currently no treatment for the Secondary stage where I am. There are symptom meds which help some.
Dry O's non MS

I have been off this board for a long time. But the post brought up a question that I have had for many years.
I personally have dry O's. My "First" cup is usually dry and rapid. The second cup is usually full and very wet. I have likened it to loading a barrel.
I enjoy both events but the second event is always the best. Takes longer, more stimulation is necessary, and it does not always present itself. I am in my early 60's and this is a situation that slowly presented itself during the last 10 years. I do have BPH and am on meds for it. As well as hypertension meds.
Question is does this happen with regularity out there, with or without the meds.
P.S. with viagra there is no cup! sucks!
