About a month in, I'm having some good experiences in the Sugar Bowl.
I have a "rotation" of two SBs on PPM with no specific commitments. They are 7s looks-wise but just a great experience to bang eager 20-somethings who really want to be there (they seem to like the idea of getting laid and paid at the same time) .. and I enjoy the dating part which seems like a super-GFE experience, takes a few years off my old bones.   It seems a good time to turn to SBs because of the lack of affordable pros, especially indys.
Like another poster here I think I will be transitioning mainly to SBs.. not entirely because there are some great pros I want to see too. But this is cool.
I've got a few more prospects and enjoying some of the flirting.. yes there have been some scammers and ghosters but I'm getting acclimated.
The only real problem is this is costing more than I anticipated. I could see going broke on SBs and will have to filter out a few...

It's refreshing to see more (mostly) positive posts about Sugaring.  I still don't see the overall number of active POT profiles as we saw pre-COVID, but like you, I am seeing an increase in POT's who are down to meet and DTF at reasonable allowance levels.

Interestingly when I posed the question on redd--it about exclusive allowances vs PPMs the vast majority said they were looking for ONE partner. And some of the profiles suggest that as well. Not surprising folks on this board are playing the field with PPM, but there are apparently a number of flavors of sugar.

They all want just one partner, in fact they'd prefer zero partners, just cash app them the money on a weekly basis. What they'll settle for is a matter of negotiation.

I'm glad to see you getting some action. I've only been back on less than a week and the ONLY action I'm getting are pros. PPM 500 or so for an hour. And I see lots more pros or rather professional amateurs on there based on profiles, I think. Kind of discouraging.

Yes, that is happening in the Northeast also.  Many, many pros have gone on there.

Several years ago the formerly vibrant escort scene here disintegrated due to overzealous LE.  Now there simply are no pros in  this area, none on TER that I'd consider attractive or want to date.  I used to consider this situation unfortunate.  But now I see it as a blessing since the local SA scene is NOT full of pros distorting the sugar scene and skewing the real SB's expectations.  I still see overwhelmingly genuine SB amateurs.  Yes there are scammers, GPS, platonics,etc. But also lots of real SBs.

Interesting points. Of course this is my personal opinion here, but there may be some connection between the 2 trends. In Boston, FAFSA and COVID did a number on the escorting scene. While it did recover, it is no where near what it was before FAFSA and COVID. The number of reliable agencies and the previously usual constant replenishment of incoming indys just isn't there like it used to be. This might also explain the influx of pros into the sugar bowl.  What may have been initially planned as a safe haven to ride out COVID, turned out to be a more preferable way for them to do business.

as long as they behave like Sugar Babies since that's what SA is about.  If I met a SB on SA who let me know she was a pro escort, but was happy to date as a SB, I'd have no problem with that.  But if she wanted to charge by the hour and watch the clock, I'd be tempted to report her.

If you wanted to find pros on SA, what are some of the tell tale things to filter for, note in their description / bio or in their pics (eg don't show their face, attire, etc)?

Some giveaways:  Pics are of a gal dressed scantily and taken in a room full of lockers (is an exotic dancer).  Pics taken in a casino, public restroom, or hotel corridor/room.  Wording in the ad indicating a wish to get to the point quickly, that she's not looking for long term or monogamy but for Mr. right now, or that hey we both know the score here, or talking in terms of guys as opposed to guy, or that she knows how to take care of a man.  Most obvious are photos that you are familiar with from escort mall ads, or from providers reviewed here on TER.  I've had memorable encounters with pros where SA was the point of introduction.
