I've spent the last maybe 8 years pursuing sugar relationships -- some amazing times, some amazing women -- and lots of disappointments.  I grow a little tired of the commitment required, and the ever present danger that I'll run into someone crazy who will "out" me to my wife.  At the same time, I had some equally amazing times with ladies of the evening.  I miss that excitement.  So I think, for now, I'm leaving the SR life behind, at least for a while.  I have a hankering for a sweet young K-girl or a seasoned professional who knows how to blow my mind.  I can't be the only one?

I know all of you married guys are going to disagree with me, but here goes anyway.  My awesome wife and I just celebrated our 53rd anniversary and are incredibly happy together.  We both believe that a great partnership should include encouraging each other to get all of their needs met.  NOT by denying those needs in the name of some arbitrary standard of what monogamy  "should" look like.  One of my needs and desires is having intimate sexual relationships with a variety of women, not just one.  She feels the same way.  So we agreed even before we got married that we would abandon the standard monogamous model and forge our own path toward happiness. We have learned how to be completely honest with each other, how to create agreements that make this work, and how to feel genuine happiness when the other is off seeing a lover. (google "compersion")  My wife is not merely aware of my sugar dating, she approves and encourages me to enjoy life to the fullest.  When I head off to visit a SB she always says "have a great time".  She has met and befriended quite a few of the women I've dated.  She knows how much better her life is when her husband is happy and getting his needs met.  It's a win/win, for both of us.  I'm merely suggesting that there is a beautiful alternative to cheating.

I've chatted with this lady via text for several years now.  Two years ago she moved in with her daddy. She's quite sexual it seems. Sounds like an interesting, hot situation.  My wife and I always play separately, so I've never done anything like that.  I attended a presentation a few years ago about polyamory and ENM and the presenter commented that all alternative relationships are "designer relationships".  Each one is custom made by the participants, not one-size-fits-all.  Hope it works out for them!
