I just logged on to SA.  It's about 14 hours since my new profile was posted on the site.  I have not paid any membership fees yet, so I can't send messages, but everything else seems to function.  So far 16 have viewed me, 25 have favorited me, and 11 have sent me messages. However, the closest one is 400 miles from my location and many are thousands of miles away.  Totally worthless, and rather discouraging. Especially since I stated clearly in my profile that I am only seeking SBs within a 100 mile radius  of my location.  And since I logged on, the new views and favorites are arriving at a rapid rate.  My takeaway from this is that the vast majority of unsolicited contacts on SA are generated by bots, not by real women who read and understand your profile. And many of those bots target SDs who are currently online.  If/when I pay up for a new premium membership account and start sending out messages to SBs who at least claim to be local, I'll report on my progress.

Thanks Sweetman! SA is getting worse by the day. I just had another slew of fake profiles in the past week alone. I put my profile on hidden for now. Even in a major market it's nearly impossible, in pussy Siberia it is even more challenging! I keep thinking if I go through enough of them I'll find a real one but i'm losing faith.  

They seriously want you to pay. So they spam a lot of messages as an enticement.  I'm not sure it reflects on the true market since they have been doing that forever.

After a series of unsolicited messages from impossibly hot POTs, a couple of them with exactly the same message text, I asked one whether she was a bot.

Interesting that Admin reached out to you.  They must have an algorithm searching for certain keywords like bot.  I received 2  identical messages today, from 2 different profiles, both using the same screen name, one located in Phx, the other in LA.  I'm tempted to write to them asking if they are a bot and see what happens!
