Is it just me or the quality of SBs has become really sub standard - even compared to when I first started in March of this year. I am talking about Orange County area and parts of LA adjacent to it  

The proliferation of ugliness and obesity is so widespread now that I am just forced to use “slim” and sometimes “athletic”. Communication response is horrible, the good ones want a “meet fees” (I will never do it), and ppms of the decent looking hot ones are still in the stratosphere

I had a couple of very disappointing bcd hookups that made me reaffirm my resolve to not lower my standards again.  
Some of the women on there now — almost feels weird to be paying for sex when  I am relatively better looking than them despite my older age

It’s been a real struggle and now I wish I had tried harder to retain the ones I let go back in summer - maybe that was beginners luck and now I am seeing the harsh reality lol  

Feels like maybe taking a break until the economy gets much worse and more attractive young women need extra financial help or maybe trying some other sites like secretbenefits

I think Seeking  decided that there was too much legal risk being a sugar site, so they transitioned to being a dating site.  I believe that shift allowed the lovelorn to feel more comfortable being sugar babes.  Just a guess, though.

Yeah agree — it had been marketed as such even last year I feel but the second half of this year is when we are feeling the impact of “gen pop”  invading seeking en masse

On SB there are reports of profiles auto-responding. How do you suggest weeding them out. It's expensive to send a message and I don't want to send it to a bot or auto reply.

Yeah brother I remember I began sugaring right after you did earlier this year and had the fucking time of my life w that tight college cutie and two other mid 20s babes. And it took me all of 2 weeks after consulting people here and getting an account to land her and start enjoying bareback heaven

There's no doubt that SA has become more difficult to use recently, but that change began back when the Sesta/Fosta laws were passed  and site owners became  criminally liable for content posted by users. That's when SA really began to crack down on any language that could imply sex for money. Using the Profile Text box has become a waste of time since most words relating to sexual activity have been censored.  The search tool won't find them.  

The next big blow was the pandemic.  Previously SA's policy was that no offers of "online arrangements" were allowed.  You could be banned from the site  for offering or asking for online arrangements, or for selling pics and vids. When the pandemic hit, they quietly removed that ban and the result you know!   "Content sellers" flooded the site and remain there to this day. At the same time, lots of misinformation about sugar dating and SA was spread on social media sites like Tik Tok.  In addition, I have seen the sheer numbers of women on the site drop significantly.  As for their quality, once you weed out the ones with unrealistic expectations and the ones who want platonic only, there are still gems to be found.  But it's much more difficult and time consuming.

I've been very happy this year with 3 wonderful regulars in my rotation.  In all 3 cases our progress from first view of their profile to becoming regular members of my rotation followed the normal, wonderful script.  We exchanged some DMs onsite, moved to text, met for lunch, and then met for BCD and kept up the visiting on a regular basis.  Perfect, classic sugaring.  But one of those arrangements had an expiration date built in.  My stunning tall slim 30yo is leaving the state in March or April to pursue career goals.

So I know I need to find at least one more excellent SB to add to my rotation soon.  In the past I might have waited until she said goodbye before beginning my search for a replacement.  But given all the difficulties in doing so which we've been discussing, I began my search months ago!  So far I've only had a few coffee dates and one or two lackluster BCDs which I declined to repeat.  

At any given time I'm probably conversing with 6-12 potentials, trying to arrange a M&G, trying to see if we're on the same page.  I have plenty of time and energy for this search and I actually enjoy it.  I also still trust the process and I know sooner or later, that new sweet young thing will show up who thinks I'm wonderful.  But yeah, it isn't as easy as it used to be.

I've been using Seeking for 8 years. And I was using WYP for about 3 years before that.  Before sugaring for over 11 years, I have been booking pros for at least 30 years.  

 
I can tell you with the wisdom of 40+ years of P4P that we are all playing a long game here. There will be good times, very good times. And there will always be inevitable bad times. I won't say it's cyclic - because I have yet to figure out how to measure, see, predict, or even recognize the factors that cause these cycles. But I can say with certainly that good times will follow the bad - always.  A few years ago, maybe around 2019-2020, I was lamenting the dearth of viable Asian SB's in my area in Los Angeles. I thought I was destined to bang only Latina's and Caucasian trailer trash for the rest of my sugar days.  But that has changed: I now have an astonishing 3 hot, spinner Asians in my rotation, plus 2 porn stars, and a Latina as well.   I don't know how long my Asian line-up will last, because all arrangements end. But right now, I'm a happy Cat.  

 
Yes, the current mix of POT profiles looks like a GPS/Scammer's convention with free booze.  But go back through past posts here and you will see that observation made several times a year going back endlessly.  Yet, we each KNOW we can line up new SB's if we put in the work and have the patience to see the results of our efforts.  It's never been like booking a pro where you just peruse the escort ads, read a TER review and book your session. Sugar dating will never be like that, because it is dating.  

 
Whether you use Seeking, SB, or other sites, you will see pro's and cons of on each site.  For me, Seeking remains the clear winner, even with the noted challenges. I will admit that in the last year, it takes longer to add a new SB: more profile reviews, more 1st messages, more texting, more M&G's, to get to a 1st BCD. But that's all part of the game. As you continue to play the game you see two things:  
1. Your ability to spot non-viable profiles will improve. I can't say there's some magic checklist of criteria, though many here including myself have tried to define one. I can say your "Spidey Senses" will evolve.  You will lean to quicky scan a profile and know she if is worth pursuing or know that you should just move on.
2. Regardless of the apparent increase in non-viable profiles (as a % of the total), there will always be new women joining the Sugar World. I did an analysis of census data a while back and estimated that on any given day, there are at least 1,800 women turning 18 in every single state.  If only 1% of them enter the sugar bowl, that it still 6,570 new POT's per state, per year.  

 
They are out there, it's up to you us find them.

I was checking out the Asian talent in Orange  County.  Wow. So much better than San Diego.

One thing that is different from escorts is that it is a lot harder to order up a continuing variety on sugar sites.  Just because of the footwork involved in finding the next candidate.  And the sugar babes are geared for a "relationship" so if you like repeating with the same one, or at least consider that is a more likely success scenario in sugaring, then you might have more success in the bowl.

I confess I am a variety man and having regulars repeat isn't that inviting to me.  Nevertheless it is my budget that is the ultimate limiter for me.  

Yeah agree on the variety part - i atleast need 2-3 consistent ones - the problem w that sometimes is the good ones want a steady frequency and if I do that w all 3 of them I willl break the bank lol  

Right now I finally found a really good looking East European type looks  (born here though) 27y old for about 500 ppm - so have some success at last. Want to see her a bit first and then branch out to others

Agree w hcat on long term thinking. I’ve thought about going back to hobbying - but it’s not the same and actually turns out to be a lot more expensive and lot less fun.

 I do have a couple of cute Asian spinners on my card too potentially but trying to talk them off the ledge on ppm - let’s see lol - my ceiling is 450-500 max since I want to be able to do this every week and still comfortably spend on hotels, experiences etc. that are all getting pricier
