The Predator Scam is beginning to cost me SBs!

Recently I started to wonder why my batting average was so low in the last few months. While Googling some of the POT SBs text numbers I decided to Google my own Google Voice number. What popped up as the first search result was me on the infamous Predator site!! I had ignored itt when I first got their extortion text. Reported it to SA but they did nothing.

Now I'm beginning to understand why some of these SBs suddenly vanished in the middle of promising text exchanges.

So I purchased a new Google Voice number for $10 and urge all of you who have been victims of this scam to do the same. For another $20 you can keep your original Google Voice number forever.

New Google voice number is a fine idea but what can we do about this goddamn malicious Predator site? Because of MDraft's note I discovered that I have been on the site since ast August. I had ignored their extortion text, too. Have no idea who did it but I know it has to be via an SA account. Good grief, what can we do about this for all of us?

On read on Reddit somewhere that someone tracked them down to one of the scammy East European countries. Belarus or some such, I don't remember. So even paying them does not guarantee removal nor repeat. The consensus is to ignore it. But I wish google didn't index it. Hasn't Google been saying lately that they would stop indexing scam sites?  You can report the  site to google but google wants the reporter's details...so...

What is the name of this Predator site?  I've not been extorted, but would like to check and see if my number or email addy is listed.

But, it says a third party must be hired to remove the number.

from this lawyer, David Grant for $2000.

The photos used by PredatorAlert.com are from my SA profile...seems if we all start complaining to SA maybe they could do something.

SA told me today. "Our legal team is currently pursuing legal action on this issue, so if you are interested in pursuing this matter further, please contact [email protected]."

Well, that's great news.
Did they tell you anything else?

What happens when someone else gets your former number?

Of $1000.  Half now and half when done.  I think it’s a scam too.  This is absolute BS

Yeah, I really trust them to do something after they get the money -- like blackmail you for more, since you just proved you have cash and a reason to be scared.

So how do you end up on this site.  Any SB on SA can save off your photo, and if she gets your name and phone number, she can anonymously enter your info on this site?  Heck of a revenge site if that is true.

It is also its weakness.  If anyone can put anyone's info, or if they can just copy out of a phonebook, it means there is plausible deniability.    That's why when I was on SA my photos were also photos that were on my Facebook page.  I could just claim they grabbed them from there.   Also I only released my photos to specific individuals, not to the general public.
