So sorry to hear that it didn't work out. I'd say, no excuses for not even a text and turn the page.

I set the timer on my phone for 8 (not 10 minutes), and was going to leave when the timer ran out. With 30 seconds to go, she texts and says she overslept and would be there in five minutes. She walked in four minutes later, and was apologizing like crazy.

Background. She has a doctorate. Thin, half-asian, spinner (5'5" 105#). Long, dark hair. 27, into sex,  a little kinky, and without a partner for a few months  (info from prior texts).  

We eat our tofu and Basil Chicken Thai. After a fashion, she says, "Wanna head out?" At the door, she says, "I'd invite you over, but my furniture has yet to arrive." I say, "There's a hotel right over there." She says, "Well, I'll leave that up to you." I say, "You can stay the night -- you do not have your furniture yet." She says, "Let me go home and get my toothbrush." I do the deal on the app, and check in. Text her the room number.  And, then......

She arrives, and we have a marvelous time. Seeing her again at the end of the week.  

So, a good break when all looked lost.
