A bit of a preamble before my question:

 
In the past, I have met girls who became either a sugar baby or were a UTR girl (a pro with a very limited clientele) at nearby AMPs. These days I’ve not found AMPs to be such great hunting grounds anymore. But while it lasted I met some of the best SBs  and pros ever at AMPs.  These were mostly Asian and some white girls.

 
The sugar babies were AMP girls that just wanted some extra money and really didn’t fit well into the daily sex work world. My favorite was a very hot 19 year old former high school track star that just wanted some extra money. A few sugar sessions a month were plenty for her. And she really liked the anonymity of being a sugar baby as opposed to working at an AMP. I met her when she showed up as a new girl at a local AMP and she went private with me two weeks later.

 
In the Kgirl forum someone mentioned finding willing Vietnamese girls at nail salons.  This made me wonder if I could adapt my old AMP approach to meeting girls who I saw for a manicure or pedicure.  

 
So, here is my question: Have any of you found any success meeting SBs more organically than SA? Or are the online options the only SB hunting ground worth considering?

 
It’s totally OK if the answer is a loud and resounding “Hell no! Online is the only way to find a sugar baby.” But I figured that if anyone would know they’d be likely to be reading this forum.

Broaching the subject of surgaring to someone not already engaged in sex work, such as at AMPS, just seems fraught with blowback danger if they take it as an insult and could possibly report you to authorities for solicitation.

I do understand the risks.  This is why I never broach that subject. The closest I ever came to it was with a girl who suggested that she wanted to become my girlfriend. I told her I didn’t have room in my life for a girlfriend. I then said I could always use a friend. And, since there had already been enough flirting from her on this point I said I’d love a friend with benefits. Or even a sugar baby. I saw her eyes light up a bit at the idea of being a sugar baby. And the rest is history.

 
Other than the above, every other SB or UTR girl made it clear to me in one way or another that she was interested in some sort of compensated visit. But I believe that was easier for them to say given that I met them at an AMP.

 
I suspect it will be quite different meeting girls from nail salons. When I was single I used to occasionally pick up department store sales girls or girls I met at the grocery store. But that is a simpler thing than finding a non sex worker at a nail salon that might be interested in a Sugar Baby relationship.

I have done an arrangement with a PV agency girl, and that could be fruitful territory since they are effectively sex workers already.
For the civvies yes it seems riskier but don't see the harm in inviting them for lunch or coffee to see what happens. The worst would be they could get offended and wouldn't want to see you again; the best might be a free fuck or arrangement.
And what's with the pedicure thing?

Having spent as many years as I have in the field, I have become relatively good at reading body language. What we’re talking about is essentially a sales engagement. The art and science involved is highly generalizable and can be applied to other personal interactions without too much difficulty in my experience.  

 
You can pretty quickly identify someone who isn’t a candidate for any particular product or service without offending anyone.

I met a massage therapist from our local massage review board about 10 years ago. Initially, she only offered nude massage with HJ. After several sessions, I asked her subtlely if there was more on the menu and she said yes. Since then, we met regularly at a hotel once a month until she moved away about a year later. The sex was good: GFE with DFK and BBBJ. She never told me how much she wanted so I gave 250 for each session and she seemed happy. I also met another one from the same board, but we only met twice before her husband found out what she was doing so she had to stop ( that was her story).
In my experience, quite a few massage therapists who offer sensual massage will offer sex if she likes you and becomes comfortable with you. I would never go to an AMP though; there is just too much risk to get busted.

PV is private viewing, which means no sex but happy endings.  Some of the gals will do the deed as part of the routine for an upcharge, others not. But they can be willing if they can choose their guys.
Most cities have their share of PV agencies and indys/

In response to your earlier question about manicures and pedicures: I’ve found that many girls are more relaxed if I take good care of toenails and fingernails. More of them, by far, are open to things like FIV for example. Relaxed and open always leads to a better session I find.

 
I’ve actually had girls thank me for being well groomed. I’ve written a number of posts on this subject. The net is that improved grooming noticeably increased my percentage of great sessions. So I’ve stuck to it.

I believe the place you describe as a PV is more typically called a "jack shack."  

 
In California these are usually set up as "Lingerie Modelling" in small shops, often attached to sex toy stores.  You enter, meet a model or line up of models, review a price list of room type and times available, then make your selection.  

 
The model will take you to a room that normally has a door (maybe with a "safety" window) and inside is a comfy couch for you.  She then plays some music and does a fairly shitty strip show with different sets of lingerie until your time is up.  She continuously hints that "tips will get you a better show," and that's when you notice the small table next to the couch. It has a box of tissues and maybe an industrial size bottle of lube with a pump spout as well.  IF you tip, she invites you to "get comfortable" which is code for whip it out and start jerking. If you tip even more, she MAY offer to help you, either by coming closer or even giving you a HJ (really BIG tip needed) until you blow.  

 
It very rare, at least in CA, to get more than a HJ.  And most models will try to suck you dry - of cash - before they will do anything.  IME, rooms rent for $40 for 15 mins to as much as $100 for an hour or more. The models range from 5 to 7, with an occasional 8-9 in looks. Tips are almost always required to get her naked and BIG tips are required to get extras.  I've heard of guys who dropped $200-$400+ for a HJ, which is rather sad (no, not me).  Generally if you match the room rent rate you can get her naked, but she will try to entice you to tip more and may never deliver.  

 
I stopped trying these locally when I realized there are much better options available.  But over the years I've seen these and tried them in Austin, Dallas, Nashville, Louisville, Phoenix, San Francisco, and a few other cities.  Generally not recommended unless you have no other viable options.

The merits of these places is debatable of course. I've had some decent experiences in what you might consider 'simulated GFE' or 'simulated sex' for 100-200 with girls in the 9 range, so felt I was getting some value.
But the point I was making was these girls have already dipped their toes (!) into the sex trade and may be good candidates for sugar.. I was able to recruit one who has been my best and steadiest (and not my most expensive).

There's a reason I've had great success sugar dating and total lack thereof in the civvie world.  I am not comfortable hitting on women if I don't already know they want to be hit on.  Fear of rejection, fear of offending, fear of a jealous bf, whatever.  I just have zero game.  What makes sugar dating so wonderful, at least for me, is that it's intentional.  I know that the women who post profiles do actually want to be approached, and that makes all the difference. I approach with confidence, and a wonderful success rate.  In the civvie world, one of my favorite activities is swing dancing, which I do locally every week.  I routinely hold many beautiful young women in my arms each dance night, and believe me, I often imagine how sweet they would be in bed!  But I NEVER come on to any of them, or ask them out for drinks.  I do not want to risk getting the reputation of being that creepy guy who hits on all the pretty girls. If my libido gets jacked up I return to SA and keep browsing for talent there.  It's really the only way, at least for me.

For me, I have a rather oblique approach that depends on the girl showing something other than just career advice. I have lots of younger people who come to me for career advice. So, it makes for an easy and non creepy setting for a meetup.

I don’t push things at all. In my experience, girls nearly always make it quite clear when they are interested. I usually wait until the girl makes a pass at me before I start shifting to attempting what some here call a “conversion” to SB.

 
The key is always to find out what the girl is interested in. And what she wishes she could do or do more often. If you can’t get a girl to talk about those things, then there’s probably no hope at all for any kind of intimacy with her.

I realize this thread is a little old, so sorry for the bump...

I'd be careful with the organic sugar thing.  I've seen guys that like to hand out cards, write shit on sugar packets, etc.  I advise them to remember that these girls working in different service industry jobs don't have to be 18 to work there.  Unless you are absolutely positive she's over the age of majority, I wouldn't do it.  

I agree with the poster above that mentioned that on Seeking you are looking at girls that have consented, to, and are looking for p4p.

My particular M.O. prevents me from making a mistake with someone underage. I generally avoid girls under 22. If they are that young where there’s even a question, I get very cautious.
