Maybe you need a little more sensitivity? I'm like that too. I have found a couple things that might help. One is very simple -- a rubber penis ring. For me, it really heightens the sensitivity, therefore making it easier to have an orgasm. If you're going to try a drug, maybe try Yohimbine, which is a standardized dose of the herb yohimbe. It's cheap and generic, and a urologist can give you a prescription. I have found that it makes orgasms very intense (for me, at least), thereby making them easier to happen (again, for me).
I beleive that I need to tell you a little about myself in order for you to offer assistance. I will be turning 50 this year, but as a child I had a injury to a spinal nerve that left me partially paralized from the waist down. I have partial use of my legs and have always been able to have good sexual realtionships. All my life life I beleive that I have not had all of the feeling in my penis that a normal man should have, as a young man I though this was kinda cool, because I could stay erect for a long time before cuming. My question is that lately I have had a real hard time cuming. I can usually still keep myself hard for a long time, but eventually end up giving up (pretty frustrating). Any suggestions. I have tried viagra, but it just seems to make things worse.
In this case, I firmly believe that only a physician - perhaps a neurologist - will be able to help find a solution to your problem. Yes, age does have something to do with it, in the sense that some men in their 50s and beyond experience the beginnings of andropause - a decline in testosterone and androgenic hormones which affect erection, ejaculation and orgasmic capability.
As I stated previously - it would be foolish of me, a non-physician to diagnose or provide suggestions other than the obvious: please make an appointment with a qualified neurologist and/or a urologist. They can perform tests and evaluations way beyond what this board can offer.
As a final caveat: none of the ED drugs facilitate ejaculation; they are primarily there for those with erectile dysfunction - and that seems the least of your problems.

I think a Urologist would be the best place to start. These guys are usually very good at sorting out neurologic, vascular and hormonal problems associated with male sexual dysfunction. You did not mention other medications you take, but medications are a very common cause of ejaculatory dysfunction in patients who are still able to maintain erectile function. Good luck, I am opimistic a good urologist will be able to help you.
