Hi Everyone - occasional lurker here and first-time poster on this board.  I got back on SA recently, and in browsing ladies' profiles I noticed a few of them that say that the age listed on their profile is wrong, but that they can't change it ("BTW I'm 25 y/o, not 29 like it says on the profile but SA won't let me change it lol").  Has anybody noticed this too, and/or have a possible explanation for it?  I'm curious if it's a potential red flag for a fake/scammer.  Thanks in advance!

There is no reason to believe a lady tell you her age.

and I don't think it's cause for alarm.  I think once you enter your age on your profile, you are stuck with it.  SA let's you edit other info and change your profile, but not the age.  They don't want people "becoming younger" whenever they choose.  And they update your age by one year every time your DOB rolls around.  So if your finger slips on the keyboard and you enter the wrong date, you are stuck with it, unless you delete the entire profile and start over with a new one.

Thanks for the response.  I leaned towards it being a simple mistake as well, but seeing it mentioned in 5-6 different profiles over the course of a couple of weeks made me want to ask around about it.
