I did no other vetting on the 'Selfie-Verified' POTS. I did do reverse number and photo searches on non-Selfie Verified POTS who responded a few months back but it turned out to be a time consuming rabbit hole that didn't produce results worth the time.
On vetting, I typically rely on my horse sense of what seems legit and if they reply and we successfully complete a voice call, I simply set up a M&G and go from there. I am getting a pretty low response rate across the board this past month and a high number of fakes, a lower response rate than normal, which is terrible to begin with. It's not getting easier, in fact, it's getting tougher. Seeking is slowly clearing out its inventory of outright arrangement-seeking members and replacing them with a more vanilla type of vanilla relationship dating aimed at wealthy men and the girls who seek them. As a result, I believe we'll see a steady drop in qualified sugar babies.
I've been running some tests over the past few weeks with profiles approved as 'Selfie Verified'.
As I indicated in an earlier post, I noticed a lot of 'Selfie Verified' profiles in my area that were clearly fake, photos too good to be true, typical scammer identifiers such as the 'travel brochure photo collection,' posing in front of expensive cars, AI descriptions.
So I reached out to 14 'Selfie Verified' profiles in my area that did not have any red flags and seemed legitimate.
My results:
8 - No reply 4 - They ghosted at first offline text 2 - Responded and texted a few times but ghosted after I suggested a voice call
While it's a bit early to call the game, my preliminary observations and testing based on my spidey senses are that 'Selfie Verified' is not preventing fakes and scammers from continued Seeking saturation and 'they' are able to somehow get past Seeking's facial verification process.
Has anyone else found similar or different results?

Perhaps the most we can infer from this is that the "hit rate" (the number of valid responses as a percent of total messages) is no better with selfie verified profiles.
But the trend is not looking very good.
Did you do other vetting, like reverse image searches, note any red or yellow flags in pic backgrounds, google search any phone numbers, etc?

It's been another month and a half and I'm sad to report continued lack of success on hit rates for selfie-verified profiles. I'm still scoring a few new ones very rarely, but overall quality is low. Selfie Verified profiles continue to be as unreliable as unverified, at least for me.
SA is without a doubt becoming far less reliable than it used to be a year ago, and even then it wasn't great. While it may be almost dead, it's still the only game in town. Things may improve as economy craters and POTS get more desperate for sugar to make rent.
