2019 was another wonderful year for me and I'd love to know how your experiences tally.  I had 80 dates last year with 23 diifferent SBs between the ages of 18 and 27, just shy of my slightly higher totals for 2018.  I guess I'm slowing down!  But a full 45% of those dates were with just 3 girls, all of whom are gone or soon to be gone, from my rotation.  One moved away, one is retiring as soon as she moves in with her bf, one I have frankly lost interest in.  So building the rotation is a continuing process.  I gifted my SBs between 200 and 300 per date, for a total in direct gifts of $18,000, avg 225 per date.  Of course that total does not include many restaurant meals, boatloads of fuel for the RV, and other incidentals, so I'm certainly spending something over $20k/yr on Sugar Dating. Money very well spent!  Here's wishing all my fellow dirty old men a healthy, happy prosperous, slutty New Year!

My number of different SB's for the year is probably about the same as yours, maybe a little bit higher, but not much. Unlike with hookers, where I used to see about 100 different ladies in a typical year, I only see 2-3 new girls each month in the Sugar World. My number of total dates is higher, more like 250 dates, but I am a sex addict so sue me. lol

I honestly don't have a clue as to what I spent last year, what ever the number it's a fraction of what I would have spent in the hooker world if I were seeing nothing but hookers like I did in years past. Don't get me wrong, I still like hookers and I still see my fair share of them, but the overwhelming majority of my "action" comes from the sugar bowl these days, and I completely agree that no more what the number is, it was most definitely "Money Well Spent"

As for this year, I think I am off to a good start, today is the third and I will be seeing my third girl of the year in a few hours, tomorrow I have a new girl I am seeing, so through the first four days of the year I will have seen four different girls with no repeats just yet, but I am sure that will change in no more than a couple of more days.

I've never been a high volume sex consumer relative to the TER world. Of course, compared to my "civie" friends in Los Angeles, I'm a maniac. lol.
.
I've always leaned in the direction of quality over quantity in the Sugar Bowl. I prefer to develop an A-list rotation of 3 to 4 SB's and a B-list of maybe 2 or 3 others.  Then I generally schedule a sugar date once a week from my A-list, with a weekend trip thrown in two or three times a quarter. The B-List is used for A-list no shows or cancellations, or for last minute hook ups if I feel the need. So B-Listers are happy seeing me maybe once or twice a year.
.
These are supplemented by few CF's from strip clubs who will provide either ITC or OTC from time to time.
.
By quality, I prefer to establish a few key objectives with each SB I recruit:
1. Mutual, regular testing (even if I need to pay for the test), along with
2. An agreed upon and demonstrable birth control regimen for her  like the pill, sponges, IUD, or implant. This means,
3. We go bare, and
4. I choose where to finish
5. In addition to sex, we enjoy hanging out together, going out (I always pay of course), and she's genuinely affectionate when with me.
6. Average sugar ranges from $300-$400 per, plus I cover all other expenses.
.
If we cannot agree to all these terms, she's not invited to stay in my rotation.
.
In early 2019, I went through a significant financial change when I was laid off after 12 years at my last company. Fortunately, I have been well compensated in my 35+ years of work in industry, and I was ready to retire when this happened. Not a bad thing to retire before 60, yes? And I can sustain my lifestyle, including fully funding my sugar life for as long as I live (and as long as I can still fuck, of course).
.
Still, uncertainty requires initial caution, so I started off by cleaning out my A-List of the bottom performers and took a two month period of reduced activity while I built a new rotation with sugar closer to $300 than $400.  Interestingly, some of the delisted SB's reached out to me 2 to 5 months later and asked for one-off sessions. Reasons ranged from "I need $276 for a new washing machine" (yes this 23 year old AA spinner - 5'4", 109 lbs, perky B-cups, and she sounds like a kitten purring when she cums, fucked me so she could wash her clothes!), to "help with rent," to "I just want you to lick me, no one else can get it done" (not sure I believe that one, but she has the best tasting pussy I've eaten since college so whatever...).
.
Tomorrow, I'll be seeing my Filipina Unicorn as she's back in LA for the weekend.  Next week, I'll be studying the top of my 30-ish blond aspiring actor's head for an hour or so.
.
If I do the sugar math on an annual basis, I'd estimate I spent around $20k, all-in with add-on expenses. Add another $5k or so for stripper ITC/OTC action and 2 porn star escorts at $700 each and I'd estimate my total spend at $25k in 2019.
.
The only conclusion I can reach from this analysis is that...

of tally, diary, etc the day I got ghosted on confirmation of a lunch date and that afternoon got a text that said "Mr SCB19 (no it had my name), We have confiscated our daughter's phones and my wife is going to call the authorities unless we can come to an understanding".  Even thought I knew it was a scam, it freaked me out pretty bad.  LOL....yes, a burner phone was the next item.

I've had a couple of scams like that, most recently the guy on the phone said he was Detective So and So from the local Police dept and was responding to a complaint against me.  Yes it's a scam, and yes it's really scary at first.  I actually contacted our state Atty General Office and they were very sympathetic but said most of these scams originate out of the country and there's nothing they can do to fight them other than make people aware and ask that we don't engage them in any way.

That would really freak me out too.  One of my ladies is married.  I have thought about a call like that from time to time, even though she assures me it would never happen.

I was going to say I've never seen the "pay me or I will expose you" scam used on me. But then I remembered one time when I saw something similar.  It was early in my Sugar days (as were most of my stories about getting scammed) and I was dating a 10/10 AA spinner. She was just amazingly hot. This was in the days when I would accept the idea of a few non-sex dates so she could "get to know me, blah, blah, blah" and I was drooling so much I went along with it.  After our 3rd dinner and shopping date, I gave her some cash in an envelope and headed home. (Yes, yes... as I said, this was during my early days and I was thinking with the wrong head.)
.
About 15 minutes on the road I get a text from a new number from someone claiming to be her. She wanted to confirm how much was in the envelope. WTF?  I texted the original number and asked what was going on.  She replied that the  other text was probably her "cousin" who was trying to bust her with her family.  She asked me not to let the cousin know I was not fooled. So I replied to the "cousin" something like "What envelope?"  She asked me to come back and meet her so we can figure this all out. I forwarded these texts to my date.  She confirmed this was not her.  I never replied to the cousin again and she did not send any more messages. Ultimately, the POT ended up scamming me for $400 when she promised me the next date would go BCD, but (and I'm sure you can see this warming up...) she needed the cash now for some urgent need. You can guess what a super-horny, new to sugar HerbTCat did, of course. I punched in the transfer into my phone app using my hard dick instead of fingers.
.
Of course, she ghosted me after that.  I still track her IG account, and she remains ultra-hot.  But lesson learned.
.
I'm sure that going back to meet the posing cousin would have resulted in some adverse issues. At a minimum, I could have lost more cash to false promises, at worst, I could have been physically assaulted or killed.
.
The most frequent scam I have encountered since then is the "pay in advance" scam.  And I've seen it in several flavors and at various times in a sugar relationship time line.  But I've seen others along the way as well:
- Asking if her sister, friend, etc. can join us for a meet & greet. In once case, I was going to pick her up (18 year old with no car) and she wanted her friend to get in the car with us. No thanks.
- Asking for big $$$ to meet and suggesting that BCD might be available after dinner. Nope.
- Stolen IG pics from models in an obvious catfish.  It's so easy to bust these. Often the model is no where near my location, or is just too famous to use SA. One time I even asked "her" to DM on IG to prover it was her.  Ghosted.
- BCD walk outs. She presents as a sugar newbie. She is nervous and uncomfortable, but desperate for cash. You hand her the money as she sits on your bed... and then her phone rings. It's her "boss/sister/etc." She says "I need to take this" and heads to the living room for privacy - and of course, leaves.  Yes, it's also an old hooker trick. This one is hasn't happened in a while. Pretty sure I've just developed my vetting skills and my bullshit radar adequately to avoid.
.
Probably a separate post, but some of these past scammers have had the nerve to re-contact me a year to two later.  Those have led to some interesting conversations...
.
So the lessons learned are simple:
- No cash in advance - ever
- No friends, cousins (or pimps) - ever on a meet & greet
- No sugar until you drop your load into a chosen hole.
- Vetting is important.  Once you are familiar with the typical "legit" SB types and their stories, you can easily avoid he scammers with bullshit stories. Reverse image search is your friend. Googling her phone number and name, finding her on FB or LinkedIn is you friend.
- Asking for a facetime, skype or other video chat before a M&G is your friend if you are suspicious, or she lives far from you.
.
You've used your professional skills to earn a few extra pennies over the last several decades. Use those same skills in the sugar bowl to vette POT's and you will find that...
