I agree with the pain of hotel costs. I have a huge advantage in several ways:
1. Not married or have a "traditional" GF.2. Live alone,
3. In a rented house in a quiet neighborhood, and
4. I work from a home office. Gives me lots of flexibility. But it means I always want a meet & greet somewhere public before I give out my home address. Had a POT SB drive to my place once from Hollywood for a 1st time meet up p4p. She set one foot in the door, made an excuse to go back to her car and bailed. Had to call a stand by to come over. Lesson learned
Not looking for audited financials here, just a ballpark amount.
I'm generally spending around $900-$1200 a month including dinners, drinks, Starbucks cards (see my next post for this tip), p4p, gifts and the occasional Uber. That gets me 2 to 3 visits a month from a rotating stable of 6-ish SB's (includes one Pro). How does that compare to you
I find they all have problems when you first meet them that you have to corrected. They appreciate the help and it comes back to you. 2 SB 4 times a month each and 1 will stay days if required and I can visit her place trips etc..
Meeting my first two POT SBs this week. If I figure expenses/food, drink, entertainment, room and then "sugar for her" of 300-500 it definitely adds up, more than I would spend on a pro. Hopefully the complete experience will outweigh the extra cost compared to the clocks running time with providers. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy and still see providers, just expanding my horizons.

I haven't added up the cost, but I have found the ancillary costs of seeing SB's really isn't that much in the grand scheme of things, BUT I tend to keep my SB's under control and most of the young ones haven't discovered LV, Gucci, Chanel et al.
Once an SB discovers the "high end" world of fashion I pass them along to the next guy. My days of "high maintenance" women are well in my rear view mirror, right along with my days of playing $5,000 a hand blackjack. It's amazing just what kind of stupid things we do in our youth. Live and learn, right?
Between hotel and Sugar, mine is about 500-600 per month for 1 visit. Because I'm attached and can only see SBs during the day, the hotel expenses are what really kill me bc if I want to meet an SB near me between 11a-2p, there are no hotel day rooms available and I usually have to rent the room for 2 nights to have it available when I need it.
Not being critical but that does hurt the wallet when you add it up. Like you, I am married and have to watch when and where I can play. Right now, I travel a lot to one city so I have my "hotel" covered. I use Airbnb and get better than hotel rates and stay at apartment buildings, but then again I am there for 4-5 days.
I was laughing to myself on the last trip as I was banging my unicorn and the headboard was smacking the wall. I'm sure the neighbors loved the entertainment.
I agree, it's not the optimal solution... but it's been the best I can do.
Maybe Airbnb might be better solution if available, but yeah, the hotel availability is poor for my timeframe.
Many of my SB's live a good hundred miles from me. I try to see both a hooker and then an SB either on my way to or from my trips to Dallas. I sometimes spend the night which works out fine, but some SB's can only spend a short time with me and I hate spending about half as much for the room as I do "sugar" for my babe. One girl in particular can only spend a couple of hours with me, I typically give her $300, but then I have to spring for another buck and a half to rent a hotel room for us to play in for those two hours. I'd rather give her the extra money, but she's only 18, and a student, without her own place to "host".
I really don't know why wasting the money on the room bothers me so much, but it does. I guess I could look for a cheaper room, but I hate staying in a shit hole, even if it is only for a couple of hours.
I prefer girls who can host to avoid the hotel cost too and agree with GaG on not staying in shit hole even for a few hours.
I have this new SB in POT who looks worth giving her a visit, she is only 3 hours drive away so not too bad but hotel cost will add up!

There are plenty of bars, restaurants etc within a mile or two to meet publicly, "just in case" she is a catfish, BSC or both.
The last time I had a POT SB/hooker come over to my home for my first date it turns out she had a "driver" who I quickly found out was her pimp when we discussed money and she told me she had to come back with certain amount or she would "get in trouble" I IMMEDIATELY threw her the fuck out of my house and told her if her pimp had an issue he knew right where to find me, but that in the State of Texas I could shoot him right through the door without even opening it if I felt my life was in danger so he should proceed at his own risk.
I never got a knock of the door. Say what you want about Texas, but we know how to deal with thugs. lol
By pure coincidence, I think I just nailed down a new POT today who can host. 23, pics look good with rockin' body, and the $$ has been negotiated. All that's left now is meet and greet, hopefully later this week.

not since I bought the RV. I know I've been teased about this in the past and I realize most guys here are married with unsupportive wives. Even so, couldn't you sell the idea of an RV to your wife or SO? and if you don't want her or the nosey neighbors to know when you are driving it, you could store it at an RV lot or elsewhere. I have found that nearly 100% of the SBs are delighted with meeting me in the RV, and some of the pros like it as well.
I could be wrong, but I think the only person who ribbed you was Z, and he "tried" to give everyone shit who didn't play the Sugar World the way he thought it should be played.
Unfortunately I don't own a "hotel room on wheels" so often times I am forced to spend almost as much money on the room as I do providing "sugar" for the babe. lol
I also have to admit that I am still a convertible with the top down, an American Express card in my pocket, no luggage, with a beautiful woman in the seat next to me kind of guy, than I am an RV guy.
